Capers Catering & Delicatessen — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Mostly go here for the convenience - obviously they have some serious competition being a deli on Long Island. They are hit or miss as about half the time I call, they tell me they have a 45 min wait for pick up (for a turkey club? Why?)

Not necessarily my go to spot for a BEC, but their BECs will get the job done if that’s what you’re craving and nearby.

I came in to pick up an order for uber eats and the guy behind the counter said "f'n mask." I wear a mask because I have a health condition, and honestly don't really care what anyone thinks, I know most people don't, but that kind of comment from an employee is completely unnecessary. They have no proper phone edicate , found hairs in my sandwich, paid $6.50 for a cold bacon egg and cheese hero. I Wish I had that cool experience everyone told me about. But not for me ill stick to my bodega down the block, bacon egg and cheese. much more flavor and its cheaper (4.50) with a drink that you want.
