During a recent errand run with my oldest, we stumbled upon a true gem in Westbury: Halal N Out. And what a delightful discovery it was! Had some seriously delicious food that hit all the right notes for a satisfying lunch.

We started with their steak and fries, and it was an absolute winner. The fries were golden, crispy, and just salty enough – the ideal accompaniment.

Next up was the lamb gyro, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was succulent and generously portioned, nestled in soft pita with fresh veggies and a creamy white sauce. It was everything you want in a good gyro – hearty, fresh, and bursting with flavor.

And for the poor soul stuck in school until 3 PM? We snagged a spicy chicken burger to go. While I didn't get to personally sample it, the aroma alone was enticing, and the promise of a flavorful, spicy kick sounds like a perfect pick-me-up for an afternoon study session.

Overall, Halal N Out in Westbury is a fantastic find. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If you're in the area and craving some top-notch halal eats, I highly recommend stopping by. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop on our future...

Saw this place replace the Chinese/ Thai restaurant and gave it a try. Brightly lit the restaurant stands out in the strip mall. The menu is a forever choice, and you crave it, they got it. I ordered takeout for 3 platters ( chicken, mix, and jumbo shrimp)and a waffle. The staff and owner were super friendly, and they helped me with order recommendations. The food was super fresh, and toppings for the platter were unlimited. The chicken was flavorful and had a slight kick of spice. The lamb was tasty, juicy cubes and not salty. The shrimp was jumbo in size and very fresh .The waffle was sweet, savory & delicious. Definitely regretted that I didn't order a second one. All in all, it's a great addition to the neighborhood that's severing fresh and flavorful food that will definitely satisfy your weekly hunger cravings. Hopefully, they will continue to keep it fresh/clean, and I can definitely see this place becoming a...

When you see a 5 stars review, you wonder if it's legit.

In summary, the food is better than Halal guys we have in California. Given Halal guys are better in NY or in the east coast, this place still beat it. Because of the selections.

Falafel - Good!

Fried chicken - what a deal?! $4 for 3 pieces thighs and legs? It was good but watch out. Photo looks like they have battered like Popeyes or KFC, there were very little batter but still taste good and juicy too.

Fried chicken wing - somehow taste a little different. I like legs and thighs better.

Plates - I'm good with the chicken Kebab but my son's mixed plate with the lamb was awesome! Not gamey at all. I'd go straight to lamb next time.

Fries - Don't care if you have them as side dish, get it!!! It's delicious, lightly battered with flavor. Excellent.

Service was excellent! They ask you for whatever sauce you want and customize it.

Stumbled across a hidden gem on my lunch break—Halal-N-Go. I was just trying to get my halal fix, and boom… jackpot. Place looks small from the outside but surprise—way roomier inside. Bright, clean, and the vibes were solid. The staff? Super chill. One on the grill, one at the counter, both friendly and patient while I studied that novel of a menu like I had a final exam. I ordered like I was prepping for a food review (because I was 😂): fried fish over rice, fries with a custom salad, plus two-piece fried chicken and a roll on the side. Yep, went all in. The fish and chicken were both seasoned up and packed with flavor. Huge portions too. That rice? Fire. The salad? Tied it all together. The roll though? Meh. But hey, can’t win ‘em all. Will I be back? Absolutely. Clean spot, fast service, good food, good prices—and tons of parking. What more do you need?
