Visit Date: June 13, 2025
This was my second time visiting Sakura. I came one time with one of my friends and this past visit I took another one of my friends and my boyfriend. My friend/chosen extra sister and my boyfriend both love sushi. I like it as well but I don't go nuts over it, usually whenever I end up eating sushi I'm with someone else that wants to eat it.
Overall for the value of your money it's worth it to come here for all you can eat sushi. It isn't buffet style, you order what you want at the table and they bring out to you. I actually prefer those types of all you can eat places over buffet ones.
The service is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5. I have no issues with the friendliness of the wait staff but I feel like here and other all you can eat places I've been to that they tend to not bring you everything you order. I understand things might get confusing and it does get a little out of hand serving a bunch of people at one time especially if the restaurant is really busy. But I do want to try everything I place an order for and would appreciate everything from my order being bought out. I find this problem with every all you can eat sushi place. I just deal with it.
The food here is great, I have enjoyed mostly everything I've tried both times I've visited. The restaurant itself is very clean and decorated appropriately for an all you can eat sushi place.
Sakura is definitely worth the visit for all you...
Read moreStay Away – One of the Worst Dining Experiences I've Ever Had I’m honestly baffled by the high Google rating for this restaurant—there’s no way it deserves anything close to a 4.5. If I could give zero stars, I would.
From start to finish, our experience was a disaster. We were a party of three and encouraged by the staff to try the all-you-can-eat option, which was pitched as the best way to sample the full menu. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Every dish that came out was either bland, overcooked, or outright inedible. We couldn’t eat most of it.
But what made things truly appalling was the customer service. A few minutes into our meal, we were approached—more like ambushed—by three staff members who accused us of wasting food. We tried to explain that it was our first visit and we had no idea about portion sizes or the poor quality of the dishes. Instead of any understanding, we were met with rudeness and told to leave. Honestly, that was the best part of the experience—getting out of there.
Thankfully, they didn’t charge us, because that would have led straight to a dispute. Between the terrible food and the shockingly rude staff, this place has no business being open. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I genuinely hope they address their issues—or close their...
Read moreStaff is friendly and very accomodating, perfect spot for a special occasion or a night out. Very fancy inside as well, perfect excuse to dress up. The food is all made to order, and the ingredients are all fresh...it really shows through their delicious menu! They have a small bar for hot sake and cocktails (no space to sit there though) and a sushi bar with skilled chefs in the main dining area. The sushi boats are always a fun addition to the table (great for photos too) and their presentations are beautiful! We highly recommend ordering food and sushi, they are equally delicious! Our group had a little of both and were definitely wowed at the whole experience. Be adventurous! Try things you never had before, you won't be disappointed!
Our faves: Sushi boat (especially the sashimi), general tso chicken, baby octopus, pineapple rice, apple martini, Mai Tai, DIM sum, fried ice cream was a love or hate (lots of soft batter, not crispy)
Parking is limited during the day when the bagel store is open, they do have approval to park in the ACE parking during the busy times. Evenings during the week, there is...
