Margaritas Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

If i could give this place 0 stars, I would. I came to this place with my boyfriend because the location in freeport was closed and this location was the closest one. We went in and we seen the workers cleaning. I asked if it was okay for us to sit. One of the waiters asked the other waiter if it was ok. He said yes but the kitchen would close at 11. It was 20 - 30 min before 11 anyways. The waiter gave us the menu and we ordered our food. The waiter never asked us if we wanted something to drink.. He gave us water that tasted like fountain water. I ordered the mexican faldita and the waiter asked me how i wanted the steak, I clearly said Well Done. My boyfriend ordered the pollo margaritas. We received our food and i am only 2 steaks in and by third i noticed inside the steak looked too reddish. I decided to open all the steaks and i came to see one with flesh blood. How disgusting. To make the situation even better the workers continuously gave us stank faces. The girl seemed to have an attitude. The only person that seemed to care was the older man. I found it funny how when we were served our food the cooks left right after. I was a manager in a fast food place and the treatment in this restaurant was unbelievable. Worst experience ever. To begin, we didn’t get our food for over an hour, despite other tables who came after us and still got their food and finished eating. We also got expired beer, and when we told the staff, no one said sorry. Asked for salsa multiple times, did not give it. One of the appetizer, we never received. When we ordered, we told them multiple times, we are vegetarian and we want no meat. They food came very late and there was chicken in our food. No one said sorry, completely unacceptable. Awful takeout experience. They placed 2 piping hot soups in plastic containers on top of each other in the bag, with no plastic wrap, allowing one to fall into the other which then spilled all over my car. The food is bland and extremely over priced for the small entree portions they give. I ordered chicken nachos and they were unbelievably pathetic. The soup had some flavor but no other ingredients, just tortilla chips on the side. I also had chicken enchiladas which were just ok.
