I came here to get a ice matcha latte and some donut holes. And had very little of my drink while driving on the highway to my first stop. I deliver packages. Which is why I was in Long Island because I pick them up from there and travel all the way back to Brooklyn. As I was about 40mins into my highway trip I had 1hr and 2 min to drive. I noticed my drink smelled and tasted a little funny. After taking a few more sips I noticed that my drink was spoiled. My stomach started to feel funny and I had to pull over safely and throw up. I am currently 5months pregnant and I haven’t thrown up since I was 3months pregnant and that’s from morning sickness. This was about 1:30-1:40pm on the highway!. I had to stop at a deli to get water and I had the person behind the counter smell the drink to make sure I wasn’t exaggerating and they also said it was spoiled. Smells like spoiled milk. I called the store to let them and the lady denied that it was spoiled. I told her something could have happened to it during transport or maybe they aren’t cleaning what ever that used to make the drink properly. I also explained to her that I am pregnant and that this could have turnt out very bad for me if I didn’t notice it when I did. She offered to make a new one I said absolutely not due to the fact that I cannot trust whether or not their utensils/ facility is clean enough for me while being pregnant and because I won’t be back in Long Island anytime soon since I pick up packages for deliveries here and there. I’ve never had this issue with DD BEFORE and I’ve been to many I’m a loyal customer and I also use my app so I have plenty of proof of me going to many locations and never had an issue with my iced matcha latte ever !
I will be calling my bank for a refund because this is absurd and as a business owner myself I have would have never served this quality of a drink to someone. I had to throw away the whole drink. A waste of money and potentially can get me sick and my baby sick as well. The way the lady handled the complaint was un empathetic to my pregnancy and my complaint. Do better at...
Read moremissing items too often*. This is my go to Dunkin’ Donuts, like minimum of 4 times a week, and even sometimes multiple times a day from grabbing before work and even my daughter ordering delivery home. The people are all very nice. My only problem is the constant missing items especially when ordering delivery. Every other dunkin I order from uses the big sealed bags so there’s no confusion on delivery drivers on grabbing multiple bags and drinks. The Uber driver is not supposed to search through the bags to make sure everything is there they should be sealed and fall on the workers. If this was a one time situation I would understand but it has happened a few times and luckily I live close enough to go get it but that defeats the purpose. It’s not just delivery. I ordered two egg white bites yesterday and the older gentleman gave me everything after looking at the receipt and said I was good to go but there was only one order in the bag. This has also happened before but because I’m usually running off to work I just deal with it but I’m cutting the cost of paying for these missing items. Other times I’m standing there and they stare at me like what are you waiting on it’s complete? And there’s no munchkins that I ordered and it’s usually like oh I’m sorry and they go get it. Just disappointing and frustrating because again the workers are all very nice, I just want...
Read moreThe staff in there is rude. They first got my order wrong by giving me an XL size but I took it anyway and paid for the XL. I went back to tell the guy that the tea wasn't made correctly so I wanted to know if I could get a new one. The new cup he gave me was a large. I continued to explain and he saw that I was holding an XL cup so I don't understand why he gave me a large. I was charged for an XL so I shouldn't be wrong for wanting an XL again. The guy was just rude and didn't understand why I should have had a XL replacement for them messing up my order. I don't ever want to go back to this damn dunkin donuts again. Maybe it's time for a change. ...
