0/5 STARS. WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN!! GROSS FOOD AND BAD SERVICE.
I decided to try this new pizza place and I can be certain that I will not be coming back. I ordered a chicken panini, a bit overpriced, but it sounded good. I specifically asked for no onions, as I am allergic to them. Delivery took over an hour when they are not all that far away. When it finally arrived, I was shocked. It was a piece of grilled chicken on a roll. WITH ONIONS. The chicken was cold, and it was not seasoned whatsoever. (Not even salt). The roll was fine, but it was supposed to be a panini. I called this place up to ask what the deal was and whoever it was that answered the phone was very rude and gave me a hard time. He told me "we don't press our paninis here". Paninis are supposed to be pressed, otherwise its just a sandwich. I then mentioned the onions, to which he said, "can't you just pick them off?". No, I can not. Very allergic. I explained that this service is ridiculous and extremely overpriced. He snapped back at me and told me he paid $4 for a bagel and coffee this morning, and to deal with it because it is expensive to eat these days.
There are a handful of other pizza places in the area, and I strongly urge all of you to try another location before you choose this one! They do not deserve this one star rating I am forced to give them. If I could, I would...
Read moreJohn Anthony's should be avoided at all costs. The pizza quality here is worse than any other pizza place within a 25 mile radius. You would be better off ordering from Dominoes. Long Island is home to some of the best pizza establishments in the nation but John Anthony's pizza should not be considered Long Island Pizza. John Anthony's pizza is reminiscent of pizza I have eaten while spending my college years 30 minutes from the US-Canadian Border. I have actually had much better pizza than John Anthony's while in upstate NY and even down South in the Carolina's. John Anthony's pizza is an embarrassment and is a stain on Long Island's great Italian cuisine. John Anthony's took over the location where Pizza Express once stood. While John Anthony's cleaned up the place and made it presentable, they failed to even come close to the great and distinct flavors that the Pizza Express dump used to produce. If you ever think of ordering food at John Anthony's I strongly recommend that you remove the thought from your mind permanently and take your business literally...
Read moreI placed an order for delivery for a single pasta dish. girl tells me 45 minutes…2 HOURS LATER the guy shows up, in front of my house, sitting in his car with a child hanging out the passenger side window. I get a text message from him telling me he’s here. I had to go to his car. I say “I ordered this 2 hours ago”. He laughs. Un friggen believable. I called the place after an hour and the girl gives me the typical “the driver just left. You’re not the only customer we have”. I’m literally 2 blocks away. I didn’t go there to pick up because I was babysitting. Not sure how ordering one thing should ever take 2 hours when I’m 2 blocks away...
