The VFW is one of the more technology advanced post in the US. It has 5 flat screen tvs, security cameras for every corner, parking lot parking, wheelchair accessible, multiple bathrooms, and a full kitchen and working bar. The Veterans here put in many hours of community service in the local neighborhood. A great program is the Popcorn program that vets voluntarily donate to a child in need from the neighborhood. The marble floors and chandelier is a great touch. The wood has been upgraded and there is plenty of space for social distancing. You have to wear a mask and the capacity limit is enforced. Upon entry you conduct a temp check and sign in that you did.

Planning an event? If so, VFW POST 1790 is the place for you. My family hosted a 78th surprise birthday party for my Dad and we could not be more pleased with the experience. The staff was competent, courteous and helpful in every way. The facilities were clean and the amenities were perfect. We were able to view our photo collage on the multiple flat screen monitors as our event commenced. The space is more the adequate to accommodate 100 + seated guests comfortably, with room to dance the night away! I thank Kathy, Patrick and the rest of the team for all of your assistance. I recommend VFW POST 1790 for anyone planning a special event!

Held my daughter sweet 16 here on 3/19/2022 and when I say the place was amazing. The veterans that runs the place are amazing. Very helpful, very pleasant. Very accommodating. From beginning to the end of the event they was right there. Patrick was on top of everything making sure myself and my family was happy with everything. Everyone that came to the party was loving the amount of space and how clean they kept the hall. I will definitely use this hall again for another event

VFW 1790 is the best. KEVIN HILL is the best. He is extraordinary, professional, has a wonderful personality, is friendly, courteous, considerate, and supplies great customer service. He made himself available 24/7 to make my 60th birthday celebration a success and that I was satisfied. The VFW 1790 is a wonderful venue for all occasions. In addition to Kevin Hill, his staff also provided great customer service to me and my guest. Everyone was very friendly and made every effort to make me, my guest, and my 60th birthday celebration needs were met. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. This location was also clean, including the rest rooms, and the facilities and kitchen were available for my use. They all made me feel comfortable and like family. They gave me more than what I expected and bargained for and more. I can keep going on and on about my satisfaction and experience. Also gave to say thanks to Kathy Freddie and bar staff who assisted with my 60th birthday celebration on July 15th, 2023. This is the place to parry and celebrate.
