An experience in effective listening. my daughter and i went to this place for lunch. the decor was nice. there were hardly any customer in the place. My daughter wanted the crab cakes and i ordered the blackened fish wrap. I placed my order at the counter; one on one. The cashier looked as if she understood my order. Two sandwiches and two drinks was what we ordered. Our experience went SOUTH from there. The counter person heard what she wanted to hear. My order was fine, but my daughters order was wrong. I don't think I've ever had a better sandwich.
I cannot believe we haven't found this place before.

The red beans and rice make you feel like you're visiting your grandma on the bayou. Jambalaya is all good and so is the gumbo. Everything is made fresh so it takes a few minutes to get your order but it's worth the wait!
The crawfish po boy is one of the things not to miss. Loaded, and I mean LOADED, with crawfish. But the best thing on the menu is the Shrimp Etoufee. Its so wonderful that if you're a good person, when you die and go to heaven they give you a bowl of it as you pass through the Pearly Gates. I...
