⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – IHOP: Classic Comfort with Friendly Service and Fluffy Pancakes That Never Miss
My wife and I recently had breakfast (well, more like brunch) at IHOP, and I have to say—it reminded us why this place is a timeless favorite. Sometimes you just need a solid, comforting meal that hits all the right notes, and IHOP delivered exactly that, with great service on top.
We walked in around 11 a.m. on a weekend and were seated pretty quickly, which was a nice surprise. Our server was incredibly warm and attentive right from the start—she brought coffee within minutes, made sure we had everything we needed, and checked in often enough without being overbearing. That’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back.
Now, onto the food—which, let’s be real, is the star of the show. I ordered the Big Breakfast Combo with eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and of course, a stack of their legendary buttermilk pancakes. My wife went for the Split Decision Breakfast, which was the perfect mix of sweet and savory—French toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Everything came out hot, fresh, and just how we asked.
Let’s talk about the pancakes. I don’t care how many fancy brunch places you’ve been to—IHOP still knows how to make a perfect pancake. Golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. We tried the butter pecan syrup and the original, and both were amazing. It’s the kind of bite that just feels like home.
The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft inside, exactly how they should be. Meats were well-cooked, and the eggs were perfectly done—none of that overcooked dry scramble you sometimes get at chain spots. And shoutout to the coffee—it kept coming, stayed hot, and didn’t taste like it had been sitting around for hours. Small detail, but it matters.
We noticed the restaurant was clean, and the staff all seemed like they were in sync. It was also nice to see families, older couples, and solo diners—IHOP really brings together all kinds of people, and it felt warm and welcoming.
We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back for a late-night breakfast run sometime. There’s something about IHOP that’s just consistent—it’s not trying to be trendy, it’s just doing what it does best: serving up quality breakfast food in a cozy, friendly setting.
If you’re looking for a casual, delicious breakfast spot with something for everyone, IHOP still earns its place as a classic go-to. Whether you’re craving pancakes at 8 a.m. or 10 p.m., this place won’t...
Read moreI recently visited this IHOP and I must say, it was a rather disappointing experience. this particular visit left much to be desired due to the poor service and the evident lack of attention to the restaurant's overall appearance.
Let's start with the service. From the moment we walked in, it was apparent that the staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated. We were seated promptly, but it took an uncomfortably long time before anyone even acknowledged our presence or brought us menus. Throughout our entire meal, the server was inattentive, rarely checking on us and not refilling our drinks despite the empty glasses.
As for the restaurant's condition, it was evident that it desperately needed some tender loving care (TLC). The overall atmosphere was tired and run-down, with worn-out furniture, stained carpets, and a general lack of cleanliness. It seemed like the management had not invested much effort into maintaining the place, and it showed.
The lack of TLC extended to the restrooms as well, which were far from inviting. Dirty floors and an unpleasant smell made the experience quite uncomfortable for guests. A restaurant's cleanliness is essential, and it was evident that this IHOP was falling short in that aspect.
Despite these disappointments, I will say that the food itself was standard IHOP fare, which I've generally found to be decent in other locations. I do not recommend this IHOP location due to the combination of bad service and the evident need for some TLC. If the management puts effort into improving the service and the overall appearance of the restaurant, it might have the potential to become a pleasant dining...
Read moreThe service was awful. The waitress (and manager)was inattentive the waitress didn’t even greet us and we had to ask 6 times (literally) for everything such as cream, sugar, napkins, more coffee (waited very long and was terrible), straws and etc. On top of it my mother asked for eggs, bacon and home fries because she dislikes the hash-browns and the waitress got the wrong order she brought more hash-browns than anything else. My mother told her she asked for home fries but the waitress did not speak english very well and so we just told her forget it leave the hash browns. I ordered the NY cheesecake pancakes and they were completely dry and only came with 4 little strawberries and the whip cream tasted a bit stale. I had informed the manager but he told me that is how it’s supposed to be and proceeded to get more strawberries when I never asked for more. I had to ask for syrup but instead they gave me 2 very little to go sauce containers. Oh right, in the end the manager never came back with those strawberries he disappeared and the waitress never even asked if we needed boxes or how the food was until the end when we were ready to leave. In the end I didn’t take the pancakes home I only took 4 bites and left the whole plate there. My family and I will not be...
