I recently had the pleasure of dining at Montana's Pizzaria and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Frank, the owner, who exuded warmth and friendliness. His pleasant demeanor set the tone for the entire dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the pizza. Oh my, it was absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside. The toppings were fresh and generously portioned, making each bite a burst of flavor. I couldn't help but savor every mouthful.
What sets Montana's Pizzaria apart from other pizza joints is their rotation of lunch specials. It's worth coming here daily just to see what delightful creations they have in store. The variety keeps things exciting and ensures that you never get bored of their offerings. It's a great way to explore different flavors and expand your pizza horizons.
If you're looking for some weekend fun, Montana's Pizzaria has got you covered. The bar scene on the weekends is vibrant and entertaining. The atmosphere is lively, with friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy some delicious pizza, and have a great time with friends.
Lastly, I must mention the sauce. Oh, that sauce! It was the perfect balance of tangy and savory, complementing the pizza toppings beautifully. It added an extra layer of deliciousness to an already fantastic pizza.
Overall, my experience at Montana's Pizzaria was nothing short of exceptional. From the pleasant owner to the delicious pizza, the rotating lunch specials, and the vibrant bar scene, this place has it all. If you're a pizza lover like me, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Montana's Pizzaria. You won't be...
Read moreI grew up in Freeport and my family used to go to/order from Montana Brothers all the time (back when they were at their old location on Atlantic Avenue) and it was GREAT! So when I recently moved back to Freeport, obviously I was going to go there. My first experience was not positive...waited almost 2 hours for delivery. Figured it was an off day and gave them a bunch more chances. The experiences were very inconsistent (I guess it depended on who was working that day), but about half the time they were positive experiences (once it was exceptional!). I ordered again from them, hoping it would be another positive experience. I ordered a dinner and a riceball to pick up. They gave me a wait time of 35 minutes. No problem. Went there to pick up when I was told it would be ready and waited ten minutes because they hadn't heated up my rice ball yet. Okay, fine, no self-respecting Italian wants a dried out rice ball - again, no problem. Get home (less than 5 minute drive) and dive into my riceball to find the center is ice cold. Disappointed, I open my dinner to find that they have left out BOTH the pasta AND the salad. I called and was offered a $5 credit and apology (read: weren't total jerks about it). Now I'm hungry and sad that I can't honestly give this place a glowing review even though I really want to because, as a child, I was on their Little League softball team. Montana Brothers, please listen to constructive criticism from customers so you can provide a positive experience all...

I’ve worked in customer service for years, so I understand that bad days happen and I can overlook the cashier's rudeness. However, my experience at this pizzeria went far beyond rudeness. After being dismissive at the counter, the cashier proceeded to grab a slice to heat up, and instead of using a pizza slicer or a knife to separate the slice from the pie, she used her long, 2-3 inch FINGERNAILS to DIG into the pizza to separate the slices! This is right after she handled cash, too. Watching her ungloved fingers and nails SINK into the slice was disgusting.
I know that an influencer like Dave Portnoy may have had a great experience here, but the average customer should not expect the same. If you are reading this, chances are you do not have millions of followers, and therefore, they do not care about you here. I came in looking forward to a slice but left feeling disgusted.
I’m sure the owner and the chefs are probably nice, and I'm sure the pizza itself tastes fine, but because of the cashier's lack of respect for food safety, I chose not to eat the food. If you don’t want someone’s dirty fingernails digging into your food,...
