I'm a loyal, consistent panera customer. This location has rude, unprofessional and untimely service. I placed my order on the app and received a notification stating my order was ready. Went into Panera and nothing was in the shelf. I asked several employees on the status of my order and was completely ignored. I finally got someone (who refused to give me her name and I assume it was the manager) who said they were behind and my order will be out shortly. I asked why did I get a notification stating my order was ready when in fact it was not and she ignored my question. I was in a rush and asked to have my order canceled and she said she'll do it when she has time which was not any time soon. I asked how will I know you're canceling my order and she said you'll get the notification some time today. I ended up having to call Panera customer service to have my order canceled because they clearly did not do it. This has been the most unprofessional customer service I've received at Panera. If they're short staffed and not able handle the orders placed, simply telling their customers the situation and that they're doing the best to handle the orders as soon as possible would suffice for my understanding. Read moreMy two daughters and I stopped here before going to the Christmas lights at the beach. We walk in and of course are never greeted, the counter person always turns their back and I knew we were going to be told to use the kiosk to order. So that took a while for the three of us, which I expected this to happen and kept my patience for the girls- I don’t go to Panera anymore- no one greets and I don’t like the side choices, they’ve been the same for so long and are boring, the bread isn’t even that great and sometimes stale. The specialty drinks don’t taste good either. And you can’t sit upstairs here anymore- there was one clean table so we took it. Anyway, we order and pick our seats- never received a text that our food was ready, but it was when I wondered what was taking so long and went up to see. Two of our three spoons had dried crusted food on them (see photo) so I went up to get new ones, come back to sit and my little one needs a knife for her hard bagel butter- so I went back up for a third time. Read moreUsually have a good experience here, but my last order was a disappointment. Ordered via mobile app for "Rapid Pick-up" and used a deal offer for one of the new item on the menu. Several minutes later, I got the notification that my order was ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the restaurant, my order was not at the in-cafe rapid pickup location. Staff were busy helping customers waiting in line and taking their orders. I waited and about 3-4 minutes later, another staff brought out more orders for the in-cafe pickup location. My order was one of them. Took my order and went home to (hopefully) enjoy my meal. Upon opening and observing my sandwich, I was not satisfied with the skimpy sandwich that I received. It had only 2 small slices of chicken per half sandwich and not much more of the toppings I requested.
