8/25/22 The good news is that Cajun Rice is back! The bad news is that Inflation + Shrinkflation has hit Popeyes. Their Premium Lemonade has shrunk 25% in size & so have their Chicken Pieces. Across-the-board, everything has shrunk 25%, while prices have increased 25%. For those of you good at math will note that's a 50% price increase. 2/24/22 Attempted to go there today for lunch, and it's still lousy as ever. Someone cut me off in the Drive-thru line. Unbelievable. This is how people get blowback and end up eating lead-sammiches. The order-in experience is even worse than the Drive-thru. Avoid this place at all costs. Folks, just go to Shake Shack or Chick Fil A.
4/2/21 Can't believe it. I went at 11:45 AM to pick up lunch, to avoid the lines and them running out of chicken problem. Again, at the drive-up they said they ran out of Mild Chicken. The competition is watching their abysmal front line experience. It's only a matter of time before Chik-fil-A opens up a spot nearby, show them how to properly run a business and take business away from them.
3/26/21 This is the only fast food place that runs out of food on a consistent basis, or are not ready for customer orders at the beginning of the lunch/dinner period. Went there today at 11:30 AM, because I wanted to avoid the disaster of them always running out of food. Guess what, they told me they don't have the chicken pieces I wanted for my 2 Meals. This place is so badly managed, it's ridiculous. You never know what misadventures you will encounter when you come to get food here, that will leave you angry and a bad taste in your mouth. Only reason I come is because the chicken is very good, however even I have my limits. I went to the Wendy's down the road. I did not want to give Popeye's any business today...
12/18/20 Great food. Been going there since it opened (7-10 years?). Restaurant is kept very clean and the food is excellently prepared. Line/wait times can be long at peak periods (lunch/dinner). Warning advice, make sure you check your order, as they can sometimes screw it up. Happened to me more than a few times. Read moreMight've been the worst experience I've ever had in my life. I ordered through the app to pick up my order in the store. I picked up my food and traveled back home (about 30 minutes round trip). When I got home I opened the bag and saw I was missing items. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who said their name was Senzi. I told her the items I was missing and that if she could re-make my food since it will be cold by the time I return back home. I told her I would be there in 15 minutes. I got to the restaurant asked for the manager, she never acknowledged me, and walked to the back of the restaurant. About 7 minutes later she came back with the missing items. I asked her about the food that would need to be replaced. She then said she doesn't replace food. I asked for a refund if I'm not going to get fresh food that I paid for and that I wouldn't be asking for fresh food if her employee packed all the items in the bag properly. She said she can't refund me. About 10 minutes of me talking and her pretty much ignoring me, I asked for her bosses number. She said she didn't have her bosses number. She said I could call online. Which I replied you can't call online, so do you want me to go online or call customer service. Once again ignored. Now I am getting really upset and irritated by the lack of customer service and professionalism by the "manager". After about 10 more minutes I said I need a resolution today. Once again not wanting to deal with the situation, she finally asked one of her employees to talk to me. Her employee asked me what I ordered. He took my old food, threw it our and gave me fresh food. I thanked him and told him that he should be the manager of the location. All the customers were appalled by the lack of customer service that I received and 2 customers even walked out after hearing my interaction with the "manager". I then called customer service and explained the situation and they said higher ups will contact me within 5 days. Hopefully that happens. Sensi should not have a job that requires her to interact with customers. I am a general manager of a fortune 20 company and run two locations and have been working with the public for 17 years. Second update: it’s been three weeks and I’ve heard nothing and the picture of the spit in the drink was removed by management. Guess hanging out in the parking lot until close is the only option now.
Update: almost a week later and I’ve heard nothing from the manager or owner. Do not go to this location unless you want very ghetto experience.
I wish I could give this place negative stars. Visited this location and the staff were being suspicious and also laughing at me, literally peeking around a corner to see the drive thru worker hand me my drink. A young girl looked very sad when he was smirking and handed me my drink. I did nothing wrong to them so I truly don’t understand why they did this to me but I felt something was wrong so I refused to eat the food or the drink. I called costumer service for a refund. I got home and opened my drink because I felt it in my soul that something was wrong and I saw a ball of spit floating around in my drink. I can’t believe that someone would do this to someone that said please and thank you and was very polite with them. I did speak louder once because the girl taking my order kept saying “what, what?” so I knew she couldn’t hear me so I yelled what I was saying but not in an aggressive tone and I even apologized! I said “I’m sorry, I’m not yelling to be mean, I know you can’t hear me. I apologize.”
I’m in complete shock that this happened to me and I’ll obviously never be returning to this location and I’ll be telling every person possible to no go. This is a HEALTH HAZARD, the employee(s) could have herpes, hepatitis…...
