This is a 5 star patty, the best patty crust in or out of Jamaica, I don’t care what anyone thinks, that is my opinion. The flake on this crust is pure perfection! It crumbles nicely with each bite and holds the perfect ratio of meat to crust, with just enough room to slightly bubble over when baking to let out the steam so be careful, these will be hot! The Hot Beef (Spicy) is my favorite and they run out of these quite quickly. You can clearly taste the green seasonings that are cooked into the meat, and nuff scotch bonnet pepper to give it that perfect hint of heat, while not being overbearingly hot. If you do not like spicy food, leave this one alone and order the traditional beef. Not much money is needed for a full belly here guys, all patties are $3.50 and the ackee and impossible (plant based meat) are $4.00, order a piece of coco bread for $1.75 and that will keep you filled for the day! Vegetarians you can decide if you want ackee or callaloo, I even saw one stuffed with chickpeas so you decide what you want! The service here is not what people complain about at most Jamaican take out spots, the staff is always pleasant and remember their regular customers with a smile and kind word! So if you find yourself looking for a quick low cost snack and you pass a Jamaican Flavors, stop by and order a few to fill your belly, I promise you won’t be dissatisfied, and don’t forget to tell them Unnerved Traveler sent you! Enjoy Extra Tip~There are 6 locations and they offer a varied menu, and full meal items, look out for the $7.00 special, it includes meat, white rice or rice and peas, plus vegetables. Stopped in at Jamaican Flavors in Baldwin for lunch and it never disappoints! 🥟 I grabbed a fresh patty with coco bread and paired it with an ice-cold D&G Pineapple soda—perfect combo! ✨ The service is always great. Sometimes there’s a little line, sometimes there isn’t, but either way it’s always worth the wait. 🍲 Besides patties, they’ve got soups, cakes, and other Jamaican favorites if you’re looking for something extra. It’s a perfect takeout spot for a quick bite, a snack, or even to grab pastries for later. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Jamaican flavors, this is definitely the place to stop!

My brother brought me here and I'm so glad he did. I've grown up eating different Caribbean foods. I live out of state so whenever I have a craving for beef patty or jerk chicken, it gets interesting to find places. While visiting I wanted a beef patty and my brother brought me here introducing me to pumpkin patty in addition to my beef patty with coco bread. Game changer! It was so, So, SO GOOD! Every time I visit I will now be bringing back patties not only for myself but for others😊👍🏽

When this bakery came to town (Baldwin NY) I was excited the food is great! For birthdays I have ordered cakes so on and so forth. But on March 20, 2017, I received the worst customer service ever and the sad mess is that it came from the manager and another coworker. I went inside to make an order and a purchase and as I stood there on the phone I noticed the manger just stared at me; she then ran in the back and called a tall light skin girl out (the coworker). They stared at me whispered things in each other's ear laughed at me and kept staring at me! I know this because I was the only person in there at the time. I got off of my phone because I was going to ask her if there was a problem but I stopped myself and decided to take a different route on things which was more appropriate. Instead I went up I paid for everything; at the time I did not know she was the manager! So I asked her who is the manger or supervisor of this establishment and she said "I am".

When I tell you I was disappointed believe me! That she was the manger and she acted like that. How do they know that I was not going through something? Or who do they do this and not consider the fact that I am a paying customer? I am sincerely hurt by this Lord only knows what they said about me! But I will not be going back there ever again and I still have not received an apology from her or the other coworker after I called and complained she only stated "okay you have a nice day". Of course no action will be taken because she is the manager and I'm sure they would not give me the franchise owners information or tell him about this truthfully. I went to work that day...

The patties at this location are great. Very delicious and you can tell they are made with great quality products. This like all other Jamaican spots lacks customer service but that's to be expected. Order get your stuff and leave, this is definitely not a place where you could stand around having a friendly conversation with the employees. They're not very personable but they get the job done. All around I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good fresh Patty however what annoys me about this location is that they are never open on the times they have listed. If you are not going to open until 12 p.m. just list your times as 12 p.m. as opposed to 10 a.m. making people waste their time waiting outside for you to open your doors I think it's very unprofessional but this is the only place in the area so I just have to...
