Man where do I begin? First impression is friendly staff, when we first walked in I wasnt sure if we had to wait to be seated but Dalton (hope im saying your name right) was behind the counter and addressed us right away. That may seem like something not notable but you'll be suprised how many restaurants I've been to where staff will ignore you, im not shy tho ill make myself known.
Anyways back to the review of this restaurant. Dalton explained that we can either go up to the counter to place our orders or he would come to us after we grab a seat and that we can take a seat anywhere. He gave us ample time (again worth mentioning, some people don't.. like they in a rush) to look at the menu and came to us to grab our orders, we ordered a dozen spicy bbq wings to start. The wings were well seasoned, well bbq'd and well cooked (crispy), and tasted great. Now me and my girl love wings, cook our own wings so we know flavorful wings and these were fantastic!
Onto our main dish, I ordered the signature briscuit, mac n cheese, bacon in a wrap (nearly chiptole sized) with 2 sides (cole slaw and fries). Yo the fries were crispy (not overcooked) and well seasoned! My girl ordered a burger in a wrap (forgot the name of it off the menu) but it came with fries and bacon I believe in the wrap with 2 sides (potatoe salad and fries) as well. She was brought a macoroni salad by mistake, dalton was the only one taking everyone orders (for that day) so this was understanable and no sweat because he immediately told her that he would bring her the correct side order to rectify this and that she can keep the incorrect order as well so she ended up with 3 sides instead (no extra charge), that's really good service in my opinion.
My girl is not a fan of potatoe salad but she said it was good. We ordered our bacon and wraps well done and it came that way and not overcooked. We were both pleasantly satisfied with our food and service and intend to come back. God bless see ya next time, and sorry for the long review people but I only wrote it this long to give props to a good restuarant and to break things down for folk who are seeking to come here....

First, the service. It’s a neighborhood place, and they treat you like family. The owner, John, is an absolutely great guy with a heart of gold. He genuinely cares and makes sure that you have a good time and meal. And he makes it feel effortless. If you’re there, every single person that works there will do their best to take care of you, and you don’t get that experience in a lot of places. It’s worth a trip just for the staff and the feeling you get when you walk through the door.
Now, the food. I love BBQ, and I’m not usually a ribs guy, but this place has absolutely changed that for me. It’s not an exaggeration to say that these are the best ribs I’ve ever had. They’re perfectly seasoned, and not just slathered in sauce, so the meat and the flavor speaks for itself. They’re cooked to perfection, soft and easily come off the bone, but not completely falling off. I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve eaten a full rack in one sitting … a few times. I can’t stop by without getting the ribs now, I’m a changed man.
The rest of the menu is terrific too, all of the meats and sides included.
I highly recommend this olacd, and it’s absolutely become my go to BBQ place, so swing by and enjoy the food...
Read moreI love BBQ and to have a BBQ place so close to where I live is awesome. I found Sempre Fame thanks to Yelp. Today marked my third visit. During my first visit I met one of the owners John, he's a really cool dude and made my experience that much better. As for the food, I've had a few items from their extensive and creative menu. The basics of ribs, pulled pork and brisket. All are top notch. Now for the creative, fried mac and cheese balls and their semprenadas of which I've had the brisket mac and cheese and the pulled pork and bacon. The concept is pretty cool, mixing spanish food and BBQ. And they succeeded in making a delicious snack. The ribs are very good with just the right amount of sauce so you can still taste the rub used on it. The brisket is even better, I prefer it with the sauce on the side as I like to switch from eating with and without the sauce. The pulled pork is very good as well, better with the sauce on it. Today I tried their fried chicken which was ok, I'll have to try it again when John is there. The sides are pretty good too. Their fries are double fried I believe, I'll have to ask to confirm next time. The macaroni salad is good and I'll add the baked beans later on after I eat them while watching...
