Simply Greekalicious — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

My first time ordering foor from here will most likely be my last, unfortunately. I had ordered a Gyro Combo with no tzatziki sauce on the gyro, (but on the side instead), an extra pita bread, and 2 sodas. Upon arrival I noted that the gyro did, in fact, have tzatziki sauce on it; and quite a lot of it, at that. The french fries included with the combo were burnt beyond what I would consider appetizing, but things happen. I was actually unable to finish my food due to the amount of tzatziki sauce put on my sandwich, I prefer to dip/add to my liking MYSELF, thus the reason I PAID EXTRA TO HAVE IT ON THE SIDE. The order was (a waste of) roughly $20, on top of having to wait longer than previously told. I called back to complain and was met with the response "Oh I'm sorry, but you should have been more clear with your order. I'll let them know in the back." That's it.... One of our favorite greek places. This review is for the woman that works there. Came in on a busy Thursday night, there were a ton of orders waiting to be picked up. A young boy took my order over the phone, very sweet and professional. When I went to pick it up a woman working there was extremely nasty to this boy. I wanted to ask him if he was family because if he wasn’t I would suggest working elsewhere. That was the first off thing with her, second was her being rude to a customer. Greekalicious is great but that lady should seriously reconsider her attitude, in a world with so much hate be KIND! If I were that customer I would never return. In fact, when she was being rude to the boy the boy was taking another customers order over the phone, shame...

Haven't been here in a very long time and decided to drop in for some Gyro fast food. Years in the past they've been fast, fresh, and very tasty meals in such a little place that if you blink you'll miss the place. Well I should've blinked because it's no longer owned by the same people although very friendly the food lacked very much taste. It was fast, and it did look fresh but I can assure you that was all it was. Very disappointed in the take out. The 10 minute drive home the food did not get cold, there was nothing lacking in the gyro to complain about other than flavor. We threw out the food and ordered...
