Slider Joe's — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Traveling from Arizona, I was most excited to try the food in NYC. However, as I found out, the joints outside the city hold their own as evident by my trip to Slider Joe's, which was conveniently next to my friend.

When I got in, I noticed the very clean area, along with all of the friendly staff helping people. When it was my turn, I decided to go with a Joe Melt, fries, and a shake. The Joe Melt was an immaculate creation, surrounded by melted cheese encased in a perfectly grilled sandwich. The ultimate grilled cheese, and it ranks up there with pizza slices as the food I desperately miss from New York. The fries were hot and fresh, and the milkshake was made with real ice cream-- very delicious.

Unfortunately, there are no Slider Joe's in Phoenix (I checked!) When I travel to NYC again, I will come back to feed the grilled cheese burger...

Slider Joes is one of the best places in RVC!!! Owner - we have not met a more caring and passionate restaurant owner, who works hard in the day to day tasks and chats with each customer. He even suggested to me the best way to order to save money. He treats every customer wonderfully whether they are a school kid or an adult.

Pricing - in 2025 this is extremely well priced and beyond fair for the quality. My husband and I always say we couldnt get what we get here anywhere else! Cheaper and way better than any fast food restaurant burgers...

Food - the best sliders, chicken, hot dogs and fries out there. Suggest White House , Mega Joe, Memphis Fingers and beyond.

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was upbeat and welcoming—perfect for a quick bite or a casual hangout. The menu is creative without being overwhelming, and every slider packs a punch of flavor that’ll have you coming back for more.

I tried the “Classic Joe” and the “Texas Joe”—both were absolutely delicious. The buns were soft and fresh, and the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they really care about quality here.

Service was fast and super friendly. The staff genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do, and it made the experience even better.

Prices are more than fair for what you get, and the portions are just right—perfect for mixing and matching a few different sliders.
