Usually good. However, some staff need to be better trained. I ordered the shaken green tea lemonade, but the employee taking the order put in Matcha Lemonade. These are two different drinks. I never even knew Starbucks made a Matcha Lemonade. So when the barista handed me the drink, I told her this isn’t the way it usually looks. She said, this is the way it’s made. I said I’ve ordered the green tea lemonade several times at several locations, and it’s usually already brewed green tea combined with lemonade. You would think that by this description, the barista would have realized I had ordered a shaken green tea lemonade, and not a matcha lemonade. Instead, she kept insisting this is how the drink is made. It wasn’t until I got to my car I realized the label said, Matcha Lemonade. At that point I googled the drink, and saw that it is actually a drink at Starbucks. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I ordered. To me, both employees need further training. This happened today 10/25/19.
8/23/20 Update:
The staff at this Starbucks needs to be trained specifically in customer service. I know that this is New York, and the usual abrasiveness is often expected from many. But I don’t like going into a Starbucks, where I’m spending my money, and getting that New York abrasiveness, or feeling like I’m being rushed. Whoever the store manager is, needs to emphasize this during their next training sessions with the staff. The Staff in the Starbucks on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook give way better customer service. Plus they have...

The Starbucks on Franklin Ave in Franklin Square has become a key part of my routine, both before and after work. As an animal nurse, my days can get pretty chaotic—I’ll often show up at the crack of dawn or later in the evening, limping, covered in scratches and bites, or wearing scrubs that have seen better days. No matter what kind of day I’ve had, this place is always a comforting stop.
From the beginning, even before they learned my name from my orders, the team here made me feel welcome. There’s a vibe at this Starbucks that’s hard to describe—warm, consistent, and genuinely kind. And the drinks? They nail my order every single time, no matter who’s working, which is something I’ve never experienced at any other Starbucks.
If you’re in the area and looking for a great Starbucks with an amazing team, this is the one to go to. They’re a group of hardworking, thoughtful people who make a difference in your day—even if it’s just for a quick coffee stop.

Read moreEarlier this morning, (Friday 11.15 @8:50am) I stopped in as I usually do and noticed that they were busier than usual (Cold Day, Friday, totally understandable) Everyone behind the counter was pleasant, accomodating, and overall in a good mood while working. (Shoutout to Kai, Nick, and the two other young ladies working the machines this morning). There was one team member who was working the register (Nose Ring, face painted with two blue horns, glasses, Male) who was incredibly rude. He was throwing peoples orders on the counter , not calling out names when the order was brought to the counter, and obnoxiously telling other patrons that He was “Really Busy” while brushing them off. This isn’t the first time I see him acting rude towards customers. There’s always a bad apple, but overall the rest of the team here is always really nice and provide a quality experience...
