r twenty minutes before coming back in. I asked the hostess how much longer was going to take, since the app said 30 mins, and if that was the case I wasn’t going to wait that long. The hostesses looked bothered when asked, and I felt I was interrupting their conversation, but one of them told me it wasn’t gonna take that long and showed me exactly where we were going to be seated. Another twenty minutes passed and a different hostess told me that my party was next on line but I had to wait another 40 mins. At that moment it was 8:20. Two hours after my initial call. It wasn’t only a waste of my time but they were very unprofessional and unorganized. Even though we were told that we were next we saw one of the hostesses sit a party of four ahead of us (we were also four). After a two hour wait, that was supposed to take an hour we left the restaurant. It is a shame that such a nice bar is losing business because employees aren’t respecting the waitlist other accommodation their friends. Tap Room is a great spot, my wife and I really like coming here which is why it bothers me to have to leave this review. Everything was great with the service, drinks and the apps, but our main dishes, or just mine rather is where the issue is. My wife ordered sliders and I ordered the half chicken. The food took 40 mins to come out, but it was only the sliders, our server apologized and said that they wanted to make sure the chicken was cooked fully. After another 5 mins the chicken came out. The cheesy grits and the carrots were cold. When I cut into the chicken, the top was nice and hot but in the middle was literally freezer cold. I sent it back and did not bother to get anything else’s as I was disappointed and annoyed at that point. They of course credited the item on the check but honestly, shame on the kitchen for sending that out without fully checking temps. Like I said, we like Tap Room but this has really ruined it for me. 🍂🍺 Fall vibes at Tap Room! We came for their seasonal beer lineup and started with the $13.50 beer flight where you can sample six brews such a fun way to try new flavors. Out of my six, I really loved three, so definitely worth it for the price. 🍻

We also tried some seasonal cocktails …the Caramel Apple was on the sweeter side (almost like a dessert in a glass), while the Sweater Weather had more of a spiced Captain Morgan kick, perfect for that “grown-up fall” feel. Both were really good! 🍏🥃

For bites, we had mussels in garlic + white wine. Flavor was nice, though I think they could’ve been cleaned a little better and needed just a touch more salt. The Crispy Dragons were flavorful, though the filling threw me off. I didn’t quite get “crab,” but my friend loved them, so it’s definitely worth trying. 🦀✨
