This place is serene and the decor is lovely. The staff here is amazing. We arrived early, and no one else was at the restaurant yet. Every single staff member whose path we crossed said hello.

Our waiter from beginning to end was so nice, helpful, and attentive. Even down to how he interacted with each kid at our table. And it wasn't just him, from the other bus boys and waitstaff, they all were top notch. That is not something you get a lot of now when eating out. They may have been better than the food.

As many have mentioned for the amount of food you get things may be a bit overpriced when it comes to the apps, BUT it was tasty. Highly recommend the meatballs and the spinach and crabmeat dip. As for the main entrees, the chicken and skirt steak had rave reviews. Those that had the salmon and rack of lamb both complained that it wasn't seasoned well enough. The kids enjoyed the burger. It all ended with tasty desserts. We enjoyed each and every one so much I couldn't get a picture. But the creme brulé was truly chef's kiss, and it wasn't even my dessert.

I honestly can't say enough about the staff. Not onve did we ever feel rushed, and we were a huge party. Everyone checked in to make sure we had all we needed. This was an overall great experience! It's very sad that high-end restaurants are all not this friendly and accommodating. From the walk in being greeted with a smile is such a plus! Listening to what I have requested and it being done with a smile won me over! My family and I attended this restaurant for my mother's birthday. And my daughters suprise engagement. My mother did not want to be at a restaurant with a lot of people. Primhouse was very private and spacious. She loved it! Our waiter was awesome. Keep up with all our drinks and what we ordered for appetizer and dinner to desert! He did not have to be asked twice for anything. And our TABLE STAYED CLEAN! After the appetizer, the table server plates and utensils were removed, and new ones were put down. Cheers to the bartender! The lacha martini is to die for! (AWESOME) All the food was exceptionally good! I have been to plenty of restaurants, and the majority of the time, I have to send back meat for being undercooked or overcooked. I have absolutely no complaints about nothing that was served. Everything was great down to the deserts. And the food portions are great proportions. Primehouse is a welcomed addition to the Garden City dining scene. A traditional steakhouse with a contemporary flair, Primehouse offers a substantial menu to please the most discerning palates. From nightly specials, happy hour, sushi, quality beef, fish, and other well-prepared meal options, there is something for everyone. Tonight we started with a hearty bowl of Velvet Tomato Soup and House Bacon. The Tomato Soup was creamy, rich, and robust in flavor. The House Bacon was perfectly accompanied by the sweetness of maple, pecans in a sweet potato puree. Tuesdays are Butcher's Steak Night. So we both ordered it: a thick cut, rib-eye topped with gorgonzola cheese, a red wine reduction sauce and frizzle onions. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. It is hard to fathom, but we ordered dessert too. Who can resist beignets!!! These delightful little puffs were fruit-filled, dusted in powdered sugar and accompanied by raspberry and chocolate sauce for dipping. Just a decadent way to conclude the meal. They also had a few other chocolate-based desserts as well as others which undoubtedly tempted me to order the dessert in the first place.
