If you go to Wendy’s in East Meadow be sure to know how to speak Spanish. I never write reviews, but this made my gears turn. I don’t always go to Wendy’s, I prefer the Sonic location next door. But a coworker mentioned Wendy’s for lunch so I decided to go after work. When I ordered my food, I had a very bad feeling they messed up my order. I ordered the saucy nuggets 10 piece and asked for a combo. Medium. I paid for my food and they never gave me a receipt. I should have asked. When I went to the second window the coworker looked confused and confirmed I had ordered a combo as she withheld my bag. I said yes and she hand me the bag. I thought that would have been the issue there so I did not question as I drove away. As I set location a mile away I looked in the bag and noticed they gave me the wrong saucy nuggets. I had asked for honey barbecue. Of course they gave me the worse flavor, garlic parm. I was so disgusted. I didn’t even finish my meal. I try to tolerate the taste but end up throwing it away. I could have drove back but I don’t like returning food, for personal reasons. This is the second time they messed up my order all because I can’t speak Spanish. Last time they didn’t believe me I ordered a drink all because all I wanted was a burger and a drink. No combo. I clearly said medium drink when I ordered it. But then found out they had charged me for medium fries instead when I looked in the bag. That was several months ago, summer time. Read moreMy daughter loves Wendy's. Wendy's management and staff has not been good to us. Due to this experience, we will not go back to this Wendy's. Here is why: 1. 1/12/2022 went through drive through to order dinner, my card was declined twice for no reason. Called my bank no issues. The manager who took my order acted like my card declined was my fault. I went inside to order my food, my card went through. The server took me aside and told me the register that takes drive through orders have been declining customers cards all day. It needs to be fixed. The manager did not let me know of this issue. Instead of calling my bank that confirmed I shouldn't have any issues for 20 minutes, I could have ordered my food inside and used another register. Lie 1. Lie 2. Ordered dinner on the mobile app a few weeks ago, my order was cancelled for some reason. The drive through server getting rude and disrespectful saying I have no order when low and behold, the system crashed and everyone's mobile order was cancelled. I was there for close to 40 minutes. I couldn’t even finish my meal before writing this review because the food here is absolutely atrocious. I ordered Dave’s double combo, and a Caesar salad. The salad had the driest chicken I’ve ever been served in my whole life, like it was sitting out. The burger was sour and my Coke Zero had no flavor. I order the exact same thing every time I go. Everything I ordered was old and/or tasted funny. The only thing I could finish were my fries and they were cold and dry before I asked them to make it fresh for me while at the window. The way food is served here is totally unsafe and unacceptable. Simply put it’s not served fresh. I hope and pray I don’t get sick. I would advise for potential health risks not to eat here.
