A manager here went above and beyond a few times for me here. Once something went wrong picking up an order a friend had placed for us within the app. A glitch gave us two different McDs locations. I went to this one and turned out for whatever reason the order was actually being made at another (although the app told us this one) the lady called the other store and dealt with the incompetent woman on the other end (who told her she had no order no ever matching then told her all she had was that exact order number 🙄) the manager here asked her to remake the order for us fresh and ensured we had our food as breakfast was nearly over. Separately, that same manager, somehow rang up my order allowing me to get an egg and cheese McGriddle without having to pay extra for the meat I wouldn’t eat. Idk how she did it exactly and I didn’t ask her to; she just worked some magic on the register (maybe subbing McGriddles for the biscuit? Idk) but she was so kind and thoughtful. Love this location bc of her. No idea what her name is-an adult African American woman. Wish I did know her name bc I’d tell corporate she deserves a raise or something. This location also tends to have their food on point generally. I’ve not had any mistake orders and when you order without meat Kaitlyn places get confused. Some locations also are confused by my wanting sweet and sour with my fries (do yourself a favor and try it if you haven’t ) but this one is spot on. Clean, pleasant, and they even have a little free library box inside. Usually the locations inside gas stations are dumpy but this one is better than freestanding ones and I go out of my way for this one. Also eat more McDs than I otherwise would bc they’re so good here Just stopped here again and another employee rang up my deal (BOGO breakfast sandwiches) as egg and cheese biscuits sub McGriddles WITHOUT being asked !! She was so nice made it so easy and pleasant and they were FAST. Like bewitched fast and these have to be specially made....
Read moreI used to go every morning before work. 2 Friday's ago I gave them a $10 McDonalds gift certificate for a purchase of $10.79 at the drive thru. The cashier swiped the card 3 times really fast and said sorry the card is not working. I took the card back and paid with my own credit card. I returned the next Monday with the card and the receipt. The cashier swiped it and said sorry it's not working. Then the manager said that I would need to go to the McDonald's that sold the card. I gave the card and receipt back to my friend who took it to the Webster McDonald's location which showed him that the card was used and said to call the 800 # on the card. He did and it said that the card was swiped 3 times at the McDonald's I had gone to the original visit on that Friday morning which on the first swipe had deducted the $10. My last visit to this McDonald's was this last Friday and I informed the cashier at the window, which was the same as the Monday when I brought the receipt, her response was, "oh, glad it wasn't the day I swiped it." No offer to rectify the situation. Yes, it's only $10. But to me, it was the principal that they didn't apologize or credit me, especially since I WAS a regular....
Read moreI don't often go out of my way for McDonalds, heck I don't go in my way for McDonalds, but it was delivered to me today by someone who hated the experience more than I did. The person in question walked into a McDonalds that had just recently finished construction while they left the drive through open. After obtaining the order, and returning with it, you could swear by the quality of the preparation of the food that there was one person that actually existed working a lunch rush. Visibly, there were two people working, and nobody ordering. Aside from the look of the food, it tastes like someone didn't remove some plastic from a part of their fryer, as everything has a burnt plastic taste to it. I used to work fast food, so I could understand the look of the food, were it actually busy, and there were little to no staff on duty, but considering the circumstances, I've a mind to go get some people fired. This is going to sound sarcastic, but I appreciate that I no longer wish to ever eat at McDonalds again. Thank you, and also...
