Emilia's kitchen & Bakery — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I had to get a birthday cake and heard great things about this bakery. The ladies were super friendly and brought out a tray of various cakes for me to see. I was torn between the strawberry shortcake and the Brooklyn blackout chocolate cake…. I went with the chocolate and Omg it was SO GOOD!!! NOT overly sweet and my picky family loved it! While I was at the bakery, I also grabbed a mini pretzel croissant and cold brew coffee. Both fresh and hit the spot. But back to the cake… it was so fresh and so good!! I will absolutely be back to try the strawberry shortcake and the flourless chocolate cakes I hear great things about too! I saw they do custom cakes as well. But these must be some of their best and they do them well!! So glad I popped in, it’s hard to find a really good bakery - and so happy to have one close to home!

Ordered a cake and paid over a week in advance. Showed up at the agreed upon time on the morning of my party to find that they lost the order and don’t have a cake for me. I spent 20 minutes getting everything reordered with their promise that they would have it delivered to my house by 4PM. They called me back at 3 pm to tell me they couldn’t deliver it and I had to come pick it up. The cake was a mess and incorrectly executed to boot. The buttercream was grainy and the cake had no discernible flavor. There was no apology, no discount. The person at the counter told me that the “head baker” made it himself (as if I’m supposed to feel grateful) and that the lost order was a “miscommunication”. If they had actually rectified the situation and owned their mistake I wouldn’t be writing this scathing review. Very poorly handled. Will never...

In this tiny strip mall you will find Emilias Bake Shop, many other bakeries have attempted to open a bakery in this spot. Our hamlet of East Nortport already has many exceptional long term bakeries that offer unique and favorite choices. I was surprised with just how small the bakery was I was hoping it would be a coffee cafe and dessert spot with casual seating to make this a new local go to spot. Unfortunately it’s just a small plain bakery with fresh breads and pastries we tried a blueberry crumb pie for one it was delicious and not too sweet or too tart. My husbands taste of a cheese cake pumpkin was good. I just can not see them surviving long term with out creating this as a Different type of basic walk in walk out bakery, since NP and East Northport have historically amazing...
