I had organized a group catering order for Paris Baguette at the Huntington location through EZCater for an event on 8/5. I had triple checked the information I entered online for the 19 individual premium lunch boxes to ensure everything was inputted correctly. They each had a special note stating the following: “This is for a work event. Please label this with the name: xxxx”. I wanted to ensure a smooth distribution of the lunch boxes for the event. These individual lunch boxes were each paid for by coworkers of mine via collection to celebrate my manager’s birthday. Each person paid $23 dollars (which in this economy was a lot for some people).
Being that I was busy with other things for the event that day, I had sent two coworkers to pick the order up. Once they came back and we were all going through the lunch boxes to distribute them, we noticed that someone received the wrong sandwich. There was only one coworker that had gotten the chicken caesar baguette..and when she opened her box, it was a turkey club baguette. When I checked the receipt that was given with the order, her sandwich was oddly and wrongfully marked as a turkey club baguette.
I’m not sure why Paris Baguette would ring up an order themselves if it was already entered via EZCater. When I double checked the order confirmation from EZCater, it did in fact say Chicken Caesar Baguette. This mix up was very disappointing for that specific coworker—especially given she had paid $23 dollars. In addition to this error by Paris Baguette, there were several boxes that had the wrong drinks in the boxes (despite having the correct drink on the Paris Baguette receipt and the EZCater order confirmation). I’m not sure if these errors were due to carelessness of the staff that day or that the establishment had ran out of certain drinks (however, if it was the latter, neither I or the coworkers picking the order up were notified of it). If Paris Baguette was closer to the event, I would have most definitely drove back to make a complaint in person and have the wrong orders corrected. It is just very baffling that something was entered correctly on the EZCater site...and there was still a mix up. This catering order was my first time being a patron of Paris Baguette. However, due to this experience, I won’t be a continued patron of this franchise and neither will several of...
Read moreWay Overpriced and cheap white trays ruin the experience. Pretty but I’m not a cafeteria tray lover. It’s cute and encourages people to want to buy more to fill the tray, but less than appetizing for all the beautiful bread treats. We had the cafe latte and it was less than tasty, perhaps a little burnt, I was told there was no regular decaf coffee so instead of a 3.50 or so price I paid 5.25…really upselling. The vegan chocolate chip muffin was good but not worth calories or price. I got a milk cake, it’s light pound cake with icing. Neither cold liked it. Tossed that. So spent about 24$ for all that. Not worth it. But everything does look pretty. There is a 50$ cake that looks like a cup of cappuccino…very cute but I went next door to bagel store for 3 food sandwiches eat and got new coffee for less than $24. Not returning but it’s cute and may b trendy for a year or so. Pretty busy. Heard guy next door at bagel place did same as me he was so upset about prices for 2 treats. Haha oh yeah and I had to wait for coffee to be remade I think a guy took my first...
Read moreUpon entering this place, I was met with eye-catching and palate pleasing aroma. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but the gentleman (I don't recall his name) explained to me how their ordering system works. You take a tray, place parchment paper on it, and grab a tong to choose the items you want. At checkout, they box it up for you. I wind up ordering a crab coleslaw sandwich (ketchup was unnecessary and didn't add anything to it), strawberry lemon cream croissant, very berry pastry, ganache chocolate bombolone, strawberry mochi donut and a blueberry and cream brioche. I would've loved to sit inside to take in the atmosphere and vibe,...
