If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. I donât even know where to begin with how disappointing the experience was.
My husband and I stopped in on a weekday afternoon, curious to try it out after seeing so many glowing reviews. The place was completely emptyâno other customers in sight. Despite that, the staff seemed completely disengaged, just standing around chatting with each other and clearly uninterested in providing any kind of service. We had to make an effort to even get their attention to place an order.
We each ordered a drink and placed a to-go order for foodâtwo sandwiches, both of which came with fries. It took at least 20 minutes to get our drinks, and again, Iâll remind you, we were the only customers there. No one else was waiting, and there was no reason for that kind of delay. It set the tone for what would turn out to be a very frustrating experience.
We finally got our food and headed home, only to be shocked by what we found when we opened the bag. For a nearly $80 bill, we received two sandwiches and a single small brown paper bag of friesâbarely enough for one person, let alone two. We each had maybe seven fries, and they were shoved into a greasy bag as if they were an afterthought. No containers, no attempt at presentation or portion controlâjust a lazy, careless job all around.
The worst part? The food wasnât even that great. After all the hype and positive reviews, we expected something much better. Instead, we felt completely ripped offânot only by the absurd pricing but also by the lack of care in the service and food quality. For $80, I expect decent portions, proper packaging, and basic customer service. This place failed on all fronts.
Save your time, money, and energyâgo literally anywhere else. This place is all style and no substance, and we...
Read moreA great concept held by bland food and poor execution-
I went with my fiancĂ© for a late lunch/early dinner on a Thursday afternoon, and we were surprised by the restaurant being completely empty, given weâve seen it full for dinner frequently.
We were seated immediately and chose our drink and food options.
I had a beer, and my fiancé opted for a cocktail, which was well made and tasted good.
For an appetizer we opted for the fried dorito mozz. When it came out we were excited to try it, but disappointingly every single piece was underdone and cold in the center, with an outside that tasted of not much, let alone dorito.
For the main course I had the scallion pancake quesadilla with chicken, which is a $5 upcharge on the already $18 quesadilla, while my fiancé opted for the $26 pulled pork Mac and cheese.
The portioning was fine, however the food was disappointingly bland. The scallion pancake quesadillaâs outside was both crumbly (not a texture you look for in a scallion pancake) and flavorless. The chicken inside the quesadilla seemed to be their standard grilled chicken, used in other dishes.
The pulled pork on the top of the Mac and cheese was slightly dry, probably due to being broiled to reheat it when put on top of the macaroni. However, the macaroni and cheese underneath was again disappointingly flavorless. All either of us could taste was pasta and butter, not even a hint of cheese.
For the cost of the meal plus others reviews we were both very disappointed with our meal, although admittedly it seems like we likely hit the restaurant at an off time.
While we likely will not return, our experience at least appears to be an outlier, and hopefully others donât have the...

I had the privilege of being able to attend a tasting here held for Yelp Elite members. It was my first yelp event in a really long time and I was excited to go with one of my girlfriends who also is a yelp elite member.
We were given tastings of elote (mexican street corn), Chicken and Waffle Sandwiches, Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, Ramen Stir fry and Scallion Pancake Quesadillas and a fried oreo. There was also a cherry limeade drink available, I don't drink alcohol and I did not ask for a mocktail version (they may have been able to make one, I didn't ask).
The pulled pork Mac & Cheese was great, a nice combination! The chicken and waffle sandwich was perfect, I have never had the chicken and waffle combination before tasting this and the fried chicken, along with the waffle were just the right amount of crispy and soft and the syrup on the sandwich was also just the right amount. The ramen stir fry was also delicious, an interesting take on using ramen. The fried oreo for dessert was unique, I haven't had a fried oreo like this before it was crispy and delicious. The scallion pancake quesadillas could have used a sauce, my friend said they come with a sauce on the menu but we weren't given the sauce. They were still good, but probably better with sauce.
I met the owner Tejan, my friend knew him. He seemed very nice!
The atmosphere is very cool here! The decor goes well with the name of the restaurant.
Definitely check out the new...
