Huntington Shopping Center — Local services in Town of Huntington

This is the most barest whole foods I've ever seen. The "whole" store is just basically boring. Not one thing impresses me from the minute i entered the store. Granted whole foods was much better before Amazon took over. Before that the food quality such as deli dept was much better. Manhasset and jericho as well as commack stores are much better. When i entered tonight the flower arrangements were wilted, food bar half filled, bakery is total lackluster, dried out pizza. Just a boring experience. Food Plaza is my local grocery store. They have all kinds of different produce options, like Dragon Fruit, I learn something new each time I shop. I "discovered" Cava Cava oranges, delicious! a must try so sweet. They have recently added a bakery counter, you can now order custom made cakes and they have fancy cookies a little cakes to purchase. Since its my local supermarket you can ask them to order something for you. They are very accommodating. I don't go to the big box supermarkets much anymore. I like my local gorcery stor much better. Less fuss, more options pleasant people and...

The pictures are not accurate, there has been a lot of money spent to make this into a very nice mall, what I'm seeing is something I might decide to call psychological architecture, but the parking spaces are arranged and there are places to take a stroll and the lighting and just everything, it's very nice. That being said, this entire place is about what I call the full wallet massage.

And if you think about it, aside from the miracle Mile, this could be considered part of the Gold Coast shopping area.
