Toasted Bagel East Northport — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I don't usually post reviews, actually this might be my first time. However I feel as though an establishment that by far exceeded my expectations is absolutely worthy of positive feedback. I have been a long time customer and each and every time my order is done correct and most importantly delicious. I adore the entire staff as do my little kiddies. As we are waiting for our food, sometimes my kids are offered a small cup of croutons or something to occupy them. I know moms could relate to how awesomely helpful that can be. Although I've been a customer for a long time now, in the recent months Greg has become the manager and he also immediately began treating my family as wonderfully as the rest of the staff. I agreed to chairing the largest event at my children's school and part of it required trying to have a local business donate food for the kids. Of course I thought of the bagel cafe immediately. When I asked Greg if they would be interested I could barely finish asking when he had already happily agreed to help anyway they could. Thank you so much to the Bagel Cafe and Greg for providing the best bagels to the kiddies, they were thoroughly enjoyed. I'm adjusting yet to my recent gluten free diet which is tough when you love bagels. Lol! What has really surpassed my expectations was the fact that Greg has been working with vendors trying to offer us gluten free people good stuff too. Every now and then when I'm in they having something set aside for me to try. I then give my opinion as to if it was good. I mean you simply can't ask for a place and people to treat you better! I came into the store last week purchased a bagel and a chicken sandwich which was amazing. I returned this week and purchased the same sandwich also a tuna sandwich, when I got to work I found out that they heated the chicken up without me asking. The chicken was very hard, you just couldn't bit into the rap. Two days later I returned to the store and I asked to speak to the person who made my order the manager was standing there and she heard me talking the about the order, she came over and started to yell at both of us. I told her I don't know what's your problem but I'm just having a conversation with the woman about my order from the other day, she was going on about my husband coming into the store and complaining about the sandwich. I told Imy husband never came there she said they had a similar situation that week with someone about a sandwich I told her that has nothing to do with me but this manager had a total meltdown and she storm out of the area to the back of the store. I could not believe her behavior infront of her employees and customers. I can't believe this store has her for a manager. I was never a person that shopped in that bagel store that was my second time. I enjoyed my sandwich and bagel that I purchased the first time that's why I returned the second time and my order was not all bad only the chicken rap was but when I returned to talk to the person that made the order for me and the manager went off on me that change it for me. Definitely the Best bagel/breakfast place around by far!...& only ordered deli sandwiches a few times & they were great too!

I know my order may be a lil' particular pain in the ass, but Cindy ALWAYS goes above & beyond...Not only getting it better than right, she'll even start it as soon as she sees me (just asks me how many, bc I get for multiple people) without me having to tell anyone or write it down! Couldn't ask for or expect better service anywhere!

All the workers really seem to work their butts off & the prices w/everything (especially things like omelette, breakfast boxes, etc) are great! I Can't believe someone said they were overpriced!...pespecially compared to other places around here that aren't 1/4 as good & are more expensive! My mom is the big coffee drinker of the family (small coffee even comes w/breakfast!) & just about every time she takes a sip says "This is the best coffee I've ever had!" Lol.
