Arrived early to pick up my order. It was 40 minutes before closing. Guests were still there eating.There were around 5 guys standing in the front where the pizza is made. 2 guys were wearing gloves and appeared to be working. 2 guys were openly eating and talking. 1 guy that was eating, took toppings from somewhere and placed it on his pizza. 1 guy was picking under his nails or what appeared to be picking under his nails. They were all talking and laughing.

I observed all of this and asked for the manager. I was asked what the reason was. I explained what I had witnessed and found to be gross and unsanitary. I was told that the guys had been working all day and that it had been a crazy day . Also, I was told that the manager would return in 15 minutes and that I could call to speak with them.

I called and spoke with the manager and explained my concerns. She informed me that the guys worked 12 hour shifts and eat “on the line” due to not being able to leave the front. She also said she understood where I was coming from and further into the conversation stated that she was sure the guys must’ve been “crouched down” and eating—— that was NOT the case. I usually get take out from here for lunch [local office], the service is great, friendly register staff etc, I find the chicken broccoli rabe cheese sandwich is taking a dive. The chicken is almost always so dry and between that and the crispy bread its a chore to eat this sandwich lately. Today an employee was wiping a ceiling vent that is directly over the food prep/kitchen area with a rag. That alarmed me as i don't want dust and whatever else is on that vent falling in my food or on surfaces where food is prepped. I am all for cleanliness, but there is a time for that, quitting time. For $11 and change I just wish this sandwich could have chicken that isnt as dry as the bread it is served on...☹☹ I love acfp usually, my family and I are frequent visitors and always love the pizza...

Chicken brocolli rabe sandwich has been much improved last 2x I ordered it, glad I decided to give it another chance, whomever is making them now is on point, thank you acfp!! Lunch is great again 👍🏻👍🏻😉😉

Today no good again, chicken sandwich had NO MOZZARELLA ON IT AND WAY OVER SEASONED WITH PEPPER AND 2 SMALL PIECES OF PROSCIUTTO FOR $10.59...really...

Went today 8-16-24 for lunch. Didn't feel like pizza, so I figured that I would try the spaghetti and meatballs, since they don't serve macaroni. The spaghetti was over cooked and was served cut up as if I was feeding it to my child. The sauce wasn't anything to write home about because it was bland. Now I'll get to the meatballs. The bottom part of both meatballs were burned and they were purposely served with the burnt side down. The meatballs had so much bread in them, that I thought they served me bread rolled up in a ball and covered with sauce. I ate one meatball and a couple of spoons of spaghetti, because you couldn't twirl it, since it was cut into little pieces and overcooked. Without a doubt the worst dish of spaghetti that I ever tried to eat. The bartender Ashley was very apologetic and took some money off the bill. Honestly, whoever the owner is they should be ashamed about the product that came out of their kitchen. 8/19/24- I have to add that at least the restaurant reached out to me to apologize and that's a step in the right direction. It's a nice place but could rate higher with a little effort. The staff was great... Busboy was on top of everything, waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. The wings, kinda of a surprise... The original were excellent and done different than we are use to... With caramelized onions and maybe roasted... Very good... The dry rub ones were good as well. The pizza... 2 different kinds... One with a gluten free crust and the other smothered in different meat... Both very good. Where it became a only a three star experience unfortunately was in how clean it appeared... Tables shouldn't be left with sticky residue... Shouldn't be old dried food stuck to various things ( the pizza tray holders ). I kinda want to put this one on management... Didn't see a manger around and a team needs leadership... He/She would be pointing things out like a tables that needed more attention to detail. I'd go back for another try... But that might be about it if the tables look and feel the same and nothing changes... Hope it was just an off night because everything else was pretty solid.

I paid $14+ for this sandwhich today that as usual was mostly arugula and this time instead of undercooked Focaccia, I received thick, burned foccacia. It was eating a steak. The picture does not do it justice. What is going on that customers are paying over $14 for arugula ????? I assumed the first few times it was a fluke. This has been consistent now. I can’t waste anymore time or money here. I used to love this place.

Once upon a time, I would fixate on Anthony’s food. Something happened in 2025 that the service and food changed. I run here on my 30 minute lunch break occasionally and either have to eat the incorrect/not made well food, or go back with the few minutes I have left on my break because my order just hasn’t come out right or good this year at all. I paid $14+ for this sandwhich today that as usual was mostly arugula and this time instead of undercooked Focaccia, I received thick, burned foccacia. It was eating a steak.
