Benedetto's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This place is absolutely 100% the best pizza, the best environment, and the best owners in the entire state of New York. I don’t care what you say. This is my opinion and it’s a very strong opinion because I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life. I’ve been to a lot of places in my life and I will tell you something right now. These people that own this place, these people are hard-working people that are actually giving back to the community with their low prices to be able to afford to go out and have a meal or be able to go and order a pizza pie for $11 and pick it up is insane to me.

Then you wanna get into the food aspect of it. The pizza is absolutely tremendous, the food, the dishes it is amazing. There’s nothing better in this entire area of New York that you’re finding for the price and for the greatness and the quality of this food you’re never finding anything close to it And if you say you do you’re lying.

I went here today and had food that brought me back to when I was a little child and my grandmother would cook for us and I was only a little child and I remember her cooking so that’s how you know it was that good, our family still talks about it to this day.

The respect that Justin at the front counter gives, Bryan the owner jeanie his wife the owner as well. These are great individuals. They’re great loving people just by meeting them one time that’s it. I’m at them one time they were all there and I had such a wonderful time. From the music to the atmosphere to the place being completely packed out on a Monday afternoon at 12 o’clock

Don’t bother with any other pizza place in the entire world I don’t care what you say. I’m sorry, but they are helping the community by giving affordable food that isn’t processed garbage. This is fresh beautiful food and it’s cheap and it’s not gonna ever change in my opinion from The way it looks. I don’t think that the prices will ever go up and if they do maybe it’s a few bucks because everything goes up from time to time, but I just needed to write this review and I never write reviews. This was a knock out of the park Francisco indoor grand slam game five NLDS Just absolutely tremendous. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Give it a try, and thank these people for providing meals that are so affordable to the family of four or six or even more that a family can go in and get three pizza pies for $33 on a Sunday or Monday and get a dish of any pasta or salad whatever and it comes out under 50 bucks. I am a pizza and italian food snob for sure. If I try your food and its not up to par, I will move on quickly. Bennedettos was new in town so naturally I had to give them a try. Expectations exceeded right away the second I walked in. First of all they may be the most patriotic pizzaria I've ever seen which was a very welcome sign. I was greeted by a young man with a smile on his face. He explained what everything was behind the counter without even flinching I got a sicilian slice and a salad slice. BOTH were exceptional. The sauce was perfect, the amount of cheese, the airy yet crisp dough. I was sold. I then ordered a pasta fagioli soup and a penne ala vodka with chicken dinner. That night at home I had it for dinner and again it was superb. Not too much or too little of anything. Bennedettos has 100% earned my return business. A breath of fresh air! Ive gone to many MANY pizzarias in my 47 years on this Island and I have to say, this is my new favorite. The selection of pizzas is amazing and I haven't had 1 i dont like (my favorite is their plain slice and the sicilian, the measuring stick of any pizzaria) All the specialty slices are flavourful and done just right.
