Wow extremely unpleasant interaction with a girl working here. I’ve gotten the same exact flavor here at this location at least 4-5 times. Today I visited to get the same flavor I always get and then drive home only to realize they gave me the wrong flavor ice cream (completely understandable as it started getting busy when I was there). I didn’t notice before because I had my hands full in a rush and also wanted to enjoy it at home. I called to let them know the error, and the girl on the phone got extremely defensive and threw a fit right away, saying its not possible and that they don’t mistake ice cream flavors. I tried to explain to her the flavor I got today was just a base ice cream, completely different and missing all the fillings/toppings that are always in it, but she wasn’t having it and literally kept interrupting me and not letting me talk, very disrespectful. I told her I can bring the ice cream back the following day and show management (and even offered photos and videos for right now), and she said I’d have to go visit the Bay Shore location (despite having bought it at the Islip location). As someone who is a regular and was literally super nice about the whole thing and very willing to help rectify the error, this level of attitude was uncalled for and a turn off. Read moreWalked in at 8:40pm, which I understand is approaching closing time, but it was three of us who came in together and we knew what we were getting right away. It was one girl working and she was on her phone talking to someone, and she continued the phone call the entire time we were there. She started with an attitude right away too. Like I said, I understand it may be frustrating when people come in right before closing but its not like we came in 2 minutes before closing, it was 20 minutes and we were very quick with what we were getting. We were in there for about 7 minutes total so it didn't take long at all. Once she took our orders, she was slamming things and continuing with the attitude. We were very respectful and tried to be quick so we didn’t keep her late, because as someone who works in retail, I know that being kept late can be annoying, so we made sure to keep that from happening. She also gave us what I would say is half a scoops worth of ice cream and we all ordered smalls. Not sure if that’s laziness on her part, or if that’s actually how small a small is here now, and if that’s the case, why am I paying 6 dollars for it? Read moreI have had coyles ice cream twice from others that have bought it and loved the taste so i decided to order a cake for my wifes birthday, im a cash guy so i had to drive 32 miles one way to pay for it and while i was there i decided to buy a quart size of the choclate peanut butter fudge ,it looked so good and i couldnt wait to get home to have some . I to my surprise had a quart of choclate ice cream and nothing throughout. When i went back to pick up the cake i asked if the ice cream should of had fudge and peanutbutter throughout they said there should have been layers . I had nothing but chocolate top to bottom. I was very dissapointed but maybe ill try it again in the future . This could have been a freak thing that happened but its just my luck.if it wasnt for bad luck i wouldnt have any luck.
