Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Took off one star because their quality of food and drinks are very inconsistent. Depending on whose working at the time and how busy it is the bacon and the matcha i always get varies wildly. I've been getting the 2 weeks of free medium matches with An order of Hot Honey Bacon everyday on my way to work. I order it on the app 15 to 20 minutes before I get there, love that it's just waiting there for me to grab and go and don't need to wait for anything! However the snackin bacon 2 out of 5 times of the week I go is burnt or way overdone. And has no hot honey at all. 3 out of 5 times there isn't much . But you can't complain since your paying $4 for bacon and the medium drink. But once in a while tho you'll get perfectly cooked, honeyed bacon and its so friggin good! Once they even packed it out for me and those times make it all worth it haha. But one the days when you really need it or have the craving and you get barely 7 pieces AND they're burnt.. it can get frustrating. On Mondays you get 100 points for any purchase. After 150 point you can get hashbrowns. (6 pieces standard order) The iced matcha is good but if you are used to Starbucks matcha lattes it's not even a comparison. The frozen one isn't bad either. But halfway thru its just ice. So I like to add 2 hazelnut and 3 caramel to make it extra cremey. And oatmilk sub. If you are doing the 2 weeks of free drinks tho if you try to add whip creme they just won't haha. I've tried many times and they just refuse to add it. But I can taste the hazelnut and caramel. Depending on whose working they won't use oakmilk and I'll end up with bad cramps and gas all day but luckily I don't see that guy often in the morning working. The hashbrowns are pretty standard. Rather under or overdone. So try to eat them right away! The avacado toast is probably the only thing that doesn't vary. (Pretty much always alittle soft and chewy Not really toasted) If it wasn't for the free drink I probably wouldn't pay the full price. At almost $10 for a Matcha and bacon I just wouldn't be able to handle getting skimpy burnt bacon ...and possible Gas haha. Once on a Saturday they even put blueberry in instead of hazelnut! But I also never have time to turn around or bring it back and wait for them to remake it... but I'm sure you could if you had the time. But that defeats the point of walkin pick ups haha. If I'm starving tho, the new hot honey sandwich is Great 👌 don't recommend it everyday tho but it's a nice treat...
