Golden chicken III Peruvian Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Islip

We called to place an order to go of half Peruvian chicken and arroz chaufa, first the person who answered the phone doesn’t know about the dishes and was kind of rude. I don’t have idea if they still training that employee but she has a lot to learn! Second the arroz chauffa taste horrible, the rice is supposed to be graneado, but it was over cooked without flavor! The meat and the chicken were dry and tasteless, I am surprise and really disappointed!! This place used to be one of the best Peruvian restaurant in Suffolk county, we used to go to eat at golden 2 and the waitress were really nice and friendly, and the chef , a Peruvian chef , was making a delicious Peruvian dishes . Two weeks ago we went to eat a golden pickeo and a fried calamari, and the porción of the dish was a joke!!! So disappointed! I will not recommend this...

We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Menu prices reasonable. I had steak, rice and beans. Steak was ordered medium rare and they delivered; It was perfectly cooked: juicy and seasoned by a light marinade. Rice was fluffy and flavorful. The beans were excellent!
