Grilli's Gourmet Deli & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Everything was great except for one thing I ordered two chicken Caesar wrap one reg and I told the guy to make the other one spicy on a spinach wrap , he ask what do you mean spicy ? So I told him maybe add some type of hot peppers or something if you guys have, he said sure I can do that even wrote it down I was soooo looking forward to this wrap because I haven’t had one in a while and once I got home I notice zero hot peppers in my wrap I was so disappointed ☹️ because the food is great I even got a pasta from there it was a good pasta but man I just hate when I don’t get what I ask for and I can’t do nothing about it because I’m already home and on a time crunch before work I just wanted a nice little spice grilled chicken Caesar wrap and also have to go just a tad bit heavy on the dressing the wrap was a little dry honestly the only thing that saved it was the juicy chicken and great taste definitely will try again sometime but for my first time ever ordering from here I was a bit unsatisfied and I still crave hot peppers in my chicken Caesar wrap other then that the staff is great and food has good flavor...

We came here on a Sunday. Google maps says the place closes at 4pm. We get there at 240 and they apparently close at 3. So after being told it was no problem to make sandwiches that weren't on the grill, we got a buffalo bill and Mikey g. Both sandwiches are listed that they come with lettuce and tomato but, didn't receive it on either sandwich. The Mikey g didn't come with bacon and the buffalo bill didn't come with blue cheese as advertised. So we basically got bread with cold cuts and chicken cutlets, for $20. Waste of money. On top of all of this, the woman behind the counter refused to take any phone calls after 245pm, leading to the phone constantly ringing. She also used the carver to make my sandwich, which she of course had to openly express loudly that it was a problem because she had "just cleaned it". If it's a problem, why not tell the customer? We would have gladly went somewhere else and spent $20 to get sandwiches that actually contained what...

Hate to do it, Watched the guy BLOWING his nose in a tissue, REPEATEDLY wipe his nose with same tissue, Then grab someone's egg sandwich , Place hand over it to cut in half that the girl made, and wrap it. ALL WITHOUT washing his hands. I grabbed my coffee and left without ordering a damn thing. ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Worse part is I've watched this guy do this on another occasion where he was picking at his face then took order to go make it. Sorry Grillies, Will NEVER see me again if that's your protocol, And the kind of employees you have with NO COMMON sense...
