Dave rocks! He's a computer wiz! He's able to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem, and then remedy it, seemingly effortlessly.
I've had two recent occasions, one in person and one on the phone, for two different devices, where I was the beneficiary of Dave's knowledge, care and attention. And he's so very kind.
On my visit to 'My Computer Shop,' he remedied the problem while I waited, all while in a neat, clean environment, where I felt safe and attended too. (I'm still wearing a mask so Dave thoughtfully wore one for my comfort ... how very kind and considerate.) The cost for the repair was so reasonable and I was happy to pay for these wise services and expertise.
When I called for his take on an issue with another device, without hesitation, even though busy, Dave asked a few questions and then kindly directed me in a way that resolved the issue in record time. I'm rather certain that not all would be so gracious, and that this apparently simple fix could otherwise have been costly and timely. Not so with Dave.

   Read moreI have never proactively written a Google review before (without being asked), but after my recent experience with My Computer Shop, I felt I had to. I brought them my 6-7 year old MacBook Pro. It had been corrupted even though I had anti-virus software on it. I tried to reinstall an earlier version from my external hard drive, which resulted in me being unable to log in to it. I feared bringing it into a computer shop that was not Apple-authorized, but its location was much more convenient. They were diligent, kept me informed, and ultimately repaired it successfully. The disposition of everyone at the shop - Bob, Jose, and the receptionists were friendly, positive, and easy. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone needing computer...
   Read moreOne day I was in the middle of a project that had a rush deadline when all of a sudden the computer shut off! I turned it back on, and when I completed the same action that was necessary to finish, it shut off again!! All I saw was the death screen! Panic stricken I called Bob and voila, the next day he provided me with a brand new hard drive that contained all my irreplaceable files. I didn’t even have to reload any software and remember all my passwords! So, My Computer Shop gets five stars for sure!
