Harry’s Bagels — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Gross... Gross it is absolutely filthy . I ordered as I waited and observe i couldn't believe it! They cook was touching everything with no gloves . Making those pre cooked egg sandwiches cheese out a some Tupperware at 1pm to put up front for the next day as they were closing. Using egg mix not real eggs and eating off the grill with his hands then he continued to make tge sandwiches. Look at the kitchen dust and food everywhere ugh. Lady in the front was just as unsanitary no gloves touching all the bagels to find the one as she was coughing away. Ordered a turkey wrap for my husband with Swiss he took 2 bites said something was off. I did not even bother to eat my bagel I was so grossed out. Never again!! $28 in the garbage no way I was eating this food. I would not eat those precooked egg sandwiches they are definitely not fresh cooked the day before. Health dept should definitely...

I was here this morning for bagels for my son and I. I asked for an egg bagel lightly buttered with 2 scrambled eggs (for my young son) and an onion bagel toasted lightly buttered for myself. I saw the young lady grab an egg everything bagel and i asked if that was the one for my son (as it was wrong and I knew he’d never eat a bagel with seeds on it). She responded to me with an attitude and said no it’s not his, clearly very bothered that I questioned her. She came back from out of the back asking me to clarify my order for her again. TERRIBLE is an understatement. Went here for a tuna fish sandwich and 1 pound of macaroni salad. I should have taken the hint once I read a few bad reviews but I always give a place a shot. Well this time I should have listened, I walked in and the guy who sat behind the counter just looked at me so I assumed he was going to help or ask what j wanted but nope just looked like a statue. Then as I get my food he says ooo no macaroni salad here. What kind of bagel place doesn't sell salads.
