Tried for the first time tonight. Was hoping for better. I saw the reviews about the great burgers and wings so me and my husband ordered a burger each and wings along with dessert. Wings were good, really liked the teriyaki sauce. I got the southwest turkey burger and my husband got the Riley burger. They were both average burgers. Unfortunately nothing special. I felt the turkey burger had way too much of the ranch. It was drenched in it. The part that got me the most was the dessert. I was flabbergasted when I saw the desserts. Pics are also included in the review so you can see for yourself. The crumb donut with chocolate ice cream was a literal entenmanns donut and the ice cream was prepackaged cups. The brownie was much the same with a prepackaged brownie and prepackaged cup of ice cream. When a business calls themselves a restaurant you would expect a little more effort for dessert. Read moreOne of our great local eateries in the Islips. A personal favorite for my wife and I. Fibbs is layed out as a bar on one side with a dining room on the other. It vibes like a sports bar, with several screens around the perimeter up high. And while Fibbs does have the standard bar fare if that's what you're after, the kitchen offers a bit more than the typical "sports bar". The menu is packed with sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps. All are made by someone who obviously has a culinary background. Try the Sunset.... Grilled chicken breast, Mozz, avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, on a toasted ciabatta roll, and a choice of sides (fries, sweet potato fries, mashed w/gravy).
A full bar accompanies the dining room. All the standard bottled spirits, and a decent selection of tap beers. Taps are always fresh, seats are always full, and folks...
Read moreAmazing time there! We went for lunch. Their wings are highly recommended! They were well cooked. Very crispy and juicy. It was cooked to perfection. It was not under or over cooked. We had Thai chilli and Riley's Buffalo sauces. The buffalo had a slight heat to it. It was good. The Thai chilli is not spicy but very flavorful! Overall really enjoyed it! So far this is best wings we tried so far on Long Island as far as how well it was cooked. Sauces were very good as well. We also ordered the Redmen Sandwich, it was very good as well. Hands down the sweet potato fries were on point and The staff there were amazing and made us feel very welcome! Highly recommended and we definitely will be...
