Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Starbucks is one of my favorite places to go. The reason is I only go there with my best friend for life. Its Our Place, so to speak. This time, she ordered a green tea with six stevias and roasted pepper egg bites. I chose dragonfruit refresher with lemonade and bacon, egg, gouda sandwich. My drink was sweet like I prefer it and food was fresh and tasty. She enjoyed her duo, saying it was delicious as usual. When her children go with us, they have gotten cake pops and chocolate chip Frappuccino drink, among other things. They love it because they get it often. Kids are welcome and seen there at times. That says it all because when we go to any Starbucks, it is always consistently great. It is where we go to hang out, for a quick visit or a longer stay. It helps to reset and recharge us. She has a much more stressful, busy life than I do. I look forward to spending time with her, an energy source for me. I say she is my forever Starbucks date so two thumbs up is my grade. The people are nice but I absolutely dread coming in here. A good portion of the time that I come in here they get my order wrong. I tell them that I want a Venti and they'll give me a Grande. I tell them that I want Coconut milk and they'll give me regular milk. They'll try to fix it but I've come to the point where I just accept it as is and that they shouldn't have to waste their time trying to fix it; they should try to get the order right in the first place. There's a lot of people on line and they'll just wait longer if they have to constantly fix mistakes. I know that dealing with the public can be hard from time to time and I don't like to complain but I'm at my wits end with this place. I'm going to try to avoid this Starbucks as much as possible and pray that a Coffee Bean will open up around here sometime soon. At least the Coffee Bean has sizes like "Small", "Medium" and dare I say...

This Starbucks usually is amazing! Staff is friendly and service fast, but this review is not for them. Unfortunately, this morning I had to wait 25 minutes for a grande iced caramel Macchiato. 25 minutes! I know, ridiculous. Want to know why? Simple! Apparently, There was only one working bar with 3 baristas struggling to fill mobile and morning rush orders all at the same time. Shame on this branch not setting their employees up for success and causing many rushing customers set backs in their day, all because someone couldn’t call a repair service appropriately or in time. Starbucks! Get your stuff together! Your staff is hard working and still kept smiling through the stress! Kudos to the employees, boo to management!...
