Number 1 Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Lake George

This restaurant not only has great pizza but also some of the best Italian entrees I have tasted. It is very clean and neat and the service is top notch. If you want something, just ask. I am used to good fresh pizza after growing up near a pizzeria on every corner. I usually just eat plain cheese pizza so I can enjoy a good crust, good sauce (and they have a terrific home made sauce here) and cheese. They use good fresh ingredients. This is not Pizza Hut or Chuckie Cheese here. I have been not only for lunch for pizza but also for dinner. It seems the chef has a special for the evening and it happened to be Penne with Vodka Sauce one of the times I was in. It was terrific. These sauces are not something out of a jar. Great spot just off the main strip in Lake George. Like 100 yards off! Hard to walk bc no sidewalk but the drive is just seconds off the main strip. My father recommended it and it didn’t disappoint! We went on a random Monday afternoon in August and were the only family there. Hard to judge ambience of a pizza shop on a Monday afternoon but the food was a HOME RUN as was the help. Caring and kind staff and absolutely phenomenal pizza, chicken tenders (not rubbery), Cajun fries, and the chicken Caesar salad was great too, as was the cannoli! Check it out. THIS PLACE SUCKS! Legit the most rude people on the phone while you are ordering your meal, they don't deliver at all, and on top of that when I actually got my food it was cold, bland with no seasoning, and wasn't made the right way at all. My Co workers ordered a chicken parm sub and an egg plant parm and I had a chicken cutlet with a small order of Cajun fries. All of them were cold, the bread was hard, the sauce tasted like it was out of a can. If I could rate this any lower than a 1 star I would. I don't recommend this place to anyone not even for a quick bite. Unless you are starving and need something and can't make it 5 minutes down the road for literally anything else, don't eat here.
