The Rooftop Cabana Bar — Restaurant in Town of Lake George

Let me start out by saying the food is pretty good. My husband got hot dogs and fries and enjoyed it and I got a classic turkey sandwich with the home chips. If you are looking for good service I'm not sure this is the right spot for you. It took a while for a server to even come to our table and it wasn't that busy. After we recieved our food and ate we waited about 10 minutes and our waitress was no where to be found so we decided to stand up. She saw us standing there and went to grab our bill. - she put our friend on our bill and I simply asked for her to change it and seperate the bill. She stood there for a very long time before she brought us the bill (at least 10 minutes) and then it was still wrong. She separated my husband and I as well. We then waited another 5 minutes for her to come get our cards. She then comes out with receipts for us to sign and leaves yet again. We wait another 5 minutes. Meanwhile there is another waitress that seems mad at her co worker yet doesn't help us out. She kept saying "she will be right with you, sorry... Sorry.." instead of just taking the signed receipts etc. We spent a good 25 minutes playing a waiting game. I only was spending one day in Lake George and that took away from my time there.

A typical turn and burn joint. Way overpriced due to you paying for a lakeside view, but completely outside, so you are at the will of the weather. Is it right over the top of a kids' park and beach area, so expect some yelling and screaming lucky from a little bit of distance.

The food tasted like it was all frozen, pre-breaded Sisco. Which can be fine, but the prices were not in line with the quality of food being served. Their tacos were $18 for two pre-breaded, frozen, cod tacos, which looked like a total of 3 oz of fish between them both... everything is served with a very large bunch of fries, which take it for what you want. The calamari was overcooked. And the coconut shrimp are again pre-breaded and frozen and overcooked. They were realistically 31/40 size butterflies and...

Great view of the lake. Staff is friendly and professional. I had a burger and asked for it to be cooked medium and received it well done. My nephew ordered pretzel bites with cheese and received mozzarella bites instead. There was no pretzel whatsoever. The drinks are mixed well, however, way overpriced. Mixed drinks were $10 and sodas (from the fountain) were $3. The amount soda was equivalent to a can of soda. Definitely NOT $3 worth. The cost of food wasn't too bad. The...
