Kayak Lake George — Local services in Town of Lake George

Went today to rent a kayak and stand up paddle board. We got there and not a single employee (all seemed like young college kids) were wearing a mask!! Newsflash, there is a pandemic. That should have been Our first clue. Owner came briefly out to delegate, no mask either. We got our stuff after a short wait but had no explanation or help getting/in.the guy let me get onto the paddle board the wrong way around which someone else on the lake pointed out to me (only my second time). The kayak and paddle were very poor quality and the board didn’t have the Velcro attachment to the ankle. There was no help whatsoever from anyone and nothing was explained to us, handed the paddles and off we went. No one checked time either, pro tip, do NOT PAY FOR two hours! Just pay for one and come back whenever, they won’t notice... There is no system and no one cares. When we came back several customers were angry as they have been waiting forever. Which makes sense given they have no system or overview what’s out on the water. Shocking to see the difference from the place we went to a week ago at a rental place 10min away at Bolton Landing (Lake George Kayak Co.), so much better and will...

This is the place to go, I was my way from Canada to New York, Brooklyn, and was told that best place to take a break with kids is a at lake George. I didn’t know where in lake George I will go to have a good time. After driving around, I got to this location, and I must say that it’s amazing place. They have very reasonable prices, and my kids had a wonderful time, I right away called my brother, and he came over with his family, Jared accommodated both families at once, so we even had a greater good time. We saved this address to come again and again, Jared was very accommodating in many ways, very friendly, this is the bets place in lake George if you are looking for anything with water, I hope you will not believe me; you will just try it out yourself, and you will come again and again.
