This place is downright atrocious. Walked in there and it looked like a run down 3rd world kitchen. No place to even sit down and eat, stains all over the walls, and a dingy aroma filling the air. The man who took my order had no idea how to count change, insane right? Let alone speak a lick of English. One good thing I can say was the food was done in five minutes (Let’s just say that didn’t help much though). I ordered the general Tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. To start the eggroll was just a sloppy conglomerate of mush and greese. The rice was downright horrible, it had absolutely no flavor, might as well just have been plain white rice. And don’t even get me started on the pork. The pork was literally inedible, was like chewing on a rubber tire, just couldn’t get the stuff down. Onto the chicken I don’t even know what to say. Just soggy, mushy, chewy, and inconsistent. It’s like they took months old freezer burned chicken, let it thaw out, and then threw it in a wok with the sauce and sesame seeds. Honestly this place is a health hazard to the public. Within ten minutes of eating 1/10 of the meal I ordered I was in the bathroom throwing up. I couldn’t finish the other 9/10 of the meal for the life of me. Please do yourself a favor and never order from this god for saken cesspool. Any good review on here must have a case of lunacy or mush brain cause this was...
Read moreThe food at Great Wok is really great takeout Chinese food, but the service is almost always lackluster (read some of the other reviews and you'll find the same complaints I'm writing about). The prices are good and portions are generous. I hate to come on here and write a bad review because of a bad experience I had tonight, but it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and it's not the first time this has happened. I ordered online and went in to pick up and was one of nine people waiting for takeout and there was nobody at the register to give us our orders or take our money. After about 10 minutes someone came up and started taking orders from other customers who had walked in and wanted to place orders. I think in the 20 minutes I spent in the restaurant, one or two (at most) of the original nine waiting for their takeout actually got their food. I just walked out because I had some place to be. It was completely disorganized. Keep in mind that my online order was said to be ready in 15 minutes, so I let the 15 minutes past and then got the restaurant and waited another 20 for food I never got. It was even worse when we went six months ago. We placed an order and waited our 15 minutes and got there and actually waited through the entire time and it took 35 minutes for us to...
Read moreThis was my first time ordering from here, and we will order again. The roast pork lo mein was a generous serving with more pork and more veggies than one usually gets. Very flavorful and we would order it again. The boneless beef ribs, while generous and tasty, were extremely fatty. I was very disappointed in the shrimp toasts. It was 3 quarters of a piece of toast. Every place else has larger servings. That said, the ratio of shrimp paste to bread was very high and it was quite tasty; I just wish there were more of them. Not enough to share. Everything tasted very good and most servings were generous. We will be back, and we will also try other menu items. I’m not sure what to recommend for ordering. I ordered on line, waited 10 minutes and when it was my turn, the man at the counter ended up checking his phone to find my order, to write it down and put it in. Ordering on line seemed to be a waste of time. The order was correct when I received it. The place was very busy when I came in, so it...
