We were a party of 6 that arrived on a Monday everning. The environment was wonderful and the staff was friendly and attentive. The drinks were delicious, and the bartender was helpful in answering our questions. We were pleased with our appetizers (pork dumplings, cornbread muffins, sweety salad, burrata caprese, melted half brie round). However, the entrees fell short. The hot honey grilled chicken was fine, but there was no hot honey taste, and the chicken did not look appealing. It was white and appeared boiled, not grilled. The creamy risotto was the greatest disappointment though. It was not creamy, overcooked and with steamed squash on top. Like the chicken, the presentation was not appealing and there was a complete absence of flavor. We would definitely go back for appetizers and salad. But I don't think I would order a...
Read moreWhat a great addition to the Penn Yan drink/food scene! I went twice this summer when visiting from out of town. Natalie is a great host and very kind. The drink menu is extensive and so many fun drinks to try. The food is served quickly and there seems to be something for everyone. We loved the pretzel, chicken skewers, and edamame. You can even create your own charcuterie board if you want. What is best about this place is the atmosphere and location. Inside and outside dining all are on the canal with the water view. In addition, I brought my 4 and 7 year old and they were entertained the entire time by the basket of games provided on site. There is nothing else like this in Penn Yan and I highly recommend to anyone passing...

The staff was very nice and the solo guitarist was great - good songs and voice, and not too loud. Very enjoyable. The cocktails were very refreshing (my mocktail was great). My wife had the plum flat bread, which was very good and I had the pulled pork which was great. The meat was super tender and nice and Smoky. The sides could have been a bit more creative (some salt potatoes and a little coleslaw) - though the little cornbread muffins were cute and tasty. Overall very enjoyable. My suggestion to the team: get some extra menus to place...
