Burger King — Restaurant in Town of Monroe

Slowest serving Burger King I have ever been to in for the last 40 years. Avg. wait time in the evening AFTER we place our order of a couple of cheeseburgers and fries to eat in is 10+ min.!! All you see when you go inside is people standing around waiting for their food to come out. The manager and employees have a long face and are not approachable. The manager was yelling at a woman customer 3 days ago we were there, because she asked what is taking so long. He then threatened to close the doors and kick everyone out! It's the short guy working the evening shift. He needs to go on notice and he is probably the cause of all the problems with the evening shift at this store. Also every other time I take my son there the chicken comes out overcooked, burned, flat, and like shoe leather. We gave up on the chicken, so we order just burgers and fries now. About 40% of the time the fries come out overcooked and burned. It's been like this for 2 years, so we now go mostly to Wendy's and everything is perfect all the time. The BK store in New Windsor by ShopRite is the best one. Everything is always right and your order is ready in 2-3 minutes with no mistakes, and they are very busy there. The chicken is always juicy and cooked right, and the staff a lot more pleasant in New Windsor. The Monroe store is probably the worst one in the county, and #2 worse store the one in Newburgh on 17K where they make a lot of mistakes, and you get the same amount of fries whether you order small, medium or large. They don't know how to give you extra fries when you up-size. We compared my wife's small to my son's large on 2 plates when we got home, and he got maybe 2 fries more...

I’ve been getting burger king from this location for a couple years I never have major problems but today let me tell u the staff that was working the 8:30pm shift today Tuesday October 4th 2022 was just something else they made me not want to come to this location ever again I did an online pick up order on purpose to avoid any issues with my order not only did I wait 25-30 min for my food but my food was cold fries were hard chicken nuggets that were for my kids were hard half my order was wrong! I had to go inside for corrections one employee saw me and acted like he didn’t another one came up to me 5 min after then asked what’s wrong I told him then he just kept walking the other one had no regard for me seemed annoyed with me chucked the food in the trash wouldn’t even look at me in the face or speak to me directly I heard them telling each other to do things that was cross contaminating like just wipe it off or just take off the pickles and put more ketchup I personally am pregnant and mayonnaise has been making me throw up and I was so mad because u can tell they wiped off the mayo from one of My chicken sandwiches I could smell it and see some of it still on the wrapper I just wanted to just cry maybe because of my hormones but I just couldn’t all of this I was so upset I ended just taking the food and leaving because I felt so disrespected and ignored that I just wanted to get out of there but I ended up not even eating my food I spent almost $30 just for it to go in the garbage I am literally so upset and disappointed with this staff something needs to be done about this specific group of people...

I would first like to start with saying I don’t usually leave reviews on any places and I keep my opinions to myself. However, I’ve been coming to this place every few months over the course of 3 years since I work in this town, thinking maybe it will be different than the last time. Every time I’m wrong and it seems as if the employees, service, and environment gets worse. Food always comes out good, no complaint there. Employees are always extremely rude and helpless. They will ignore you if you ask for help. I’ve also noticed, and my main concern, other customers always seem unhappy here too. I’ve seen many customers act way out of line in this place. Yelling at their kids, yelling at employees, yelling and hollering on the phone, I’ve seen a guy throw a burger at an employee and I’ve also seen an older woman beat her kids in the middle of this restaurant. My concern is nothing is ever said to the customers who act this way. They don’t get kicked out or anything. It’s just a really uneasy place to go to eat. I won’t be coming here ever again.
