This place is incredible. Service was impeccable and food to match. We came and were greeted by server he showed us to a table, it looked a little cramped so I wanted another one. He smiled said no problem and showed us another one and then told us it would be five minutes - no problem. We sat at the bar and Brandon served us. I got a dirty martini (got my drink perfect) and my boyfriend asked about two different wines and bartender let us taste. We loved the bartender so much that when our table was ready we decided to stay at the bar with Brandon. Brandon was so knowledgable and nice!!! He could recommend items on the menu and knew the difference between the two types of oysters.. awesome. We order so much food - two soups, rice balls, oysters, two entrees and dessert! First we got warm flat bread with pesto and high grade olive oil which was great. Then the soup came out and oh my gosh; best french onion I have had in a long time! Oysters were clean cold and fresh accompanied by cocktail sauce, lemon, and red wine vinegar. I had veal parm and everything had a perfect ratio. Nothing too overpowering and the veal was fried to perfection. Boyfriend had meatballs and manicotti. (Says they're better than his Nonnis but you didn't just read that) For dessert we had vanilla ice cream with amaretto liquor poured on top and man that was great. Will be back here many more times and will bring people and recommend. Thanks guys for such a...
Read moreI would have given one star but the atmosphere and our waitress were awesome, the food was eh and the restaurant it self has fallen off, this place was our first date night 4 years ago and the place just looked as if they gave up on it. I didnt like that the servers/cooks were maskless. The seats were all peeled up, the silverware on the table was filthy, and not to mention the FRUIT FLIES THAT ARE EVERYWHERE and literally flying around you while u eat. I was very disappointed I wanted to leave as soon as we sat but my fiance is nicer and more patient than I am. He got the calamari as his app which he said hes had better from the local pizzerias, I had the mezzaluna which I'm obsessed with but it just tasted eh. No seasoning on the breading. After that i couldn't order a meal bc I was turned off. Mike ordered the manicotti with meatball and added sausage. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant and the food came out cold the meatball was undercooked and overall the dish was lukewarm. Overall it was very disappointing the only thing that was worth mentioning was the cool drink he had called the show stopper. I had the sangria which tasted like cough medicine in cider. For a $75 lunch date we were excited for and dont get to do often I wish I hadn't wasted our time...
Read moreThe restaurant looked pretty bland from the outside, however upon our arrival, my wife and I were received diligently and seated promptly, asked if we would like sparking or tap water and gave us enough time to look through the menu.
On the table we saw it was 1/2 off on Tuesdays and to ask the waiter for more information, I waited to see if I would be provided the info without asking, but that didn't work which didn't really matter as they gave us 1/2 off in the bill anyways. As I walked through the restaurant I could see heaps and heaps of marinara cans and packaged pasta which gave me an impression that the key ingredients aren't homemade. The restrooms were clean and had good directions along with illuminated exit signs. The walkway looked pretty narrow, not sure if a 36" wheelchair would fit through the booths.
According to the localé, the food is pretty good so, I had high expectations, however the food was just pinch above average. The restaurant serves complimentary garlic bread with olive oil and balsamic reduction (tasted better without it). The margarita pizza was pretty good, however the Parm hero was a bit on the soggy side.
