I recently had the pleasure of dining at Freddy's Restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The retro-style atmosphere immediately caught my attention upon entering the restaurant. The owners, Matt and Christina, have truly created a unique and inviting ambiance.

To start off our evening, my wife and I decided to indulge in some delicious cocktails. She opted for the spicy martini, which packed a flavorful punch, while I enjoyed a classic old-fashioned that was expertly crafted.

For appetizers, I couldn't resist trying the deviled eggs, and they were absolutely divine. The creamy filling and perfectly seasoned eggs left me wanting more. My wife decided to go for the French onion soup, and it was nothing short of amazing. The rich flavors and melted cheese on top created a perfect harmony of tastes.

Moving on to the main course, I decided to try their burger, but without the bun. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. But what really took it to another level was the sweet bacon jam topping. It added a delightful twist to the classic burger and left me speechless.

My wife opted for the French onion short ribs, and I must say, it was a game-changer. The tenderness of the meat combined with the unique flavors of the French onion sauce created a taste sensation like nothing we had ever experienced before.

Overall, Freddy's Restaurant is a must-visit for any food lover. The culinary skills of Chef Matt are truly exceptional, and the attention to detail in every dish is evident. I wish I could give this place 10 stars because it deserves every bit of praise. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine at Freddy's Restaurant and indulge in a culinary journey that will leave your taste buds...

We recently dined at Freddy's in Pleasantville with high expectations due to the average review rating of 4.7/5. The food was mediocre at best. Tuna tartare lacked flavor and crunch. Pigs in the blanket arrived room temperature and the dough soft and undercooked. Almost as if they were microwaved, left to cool and sent to our table. Buffalo wings were meaty and the best of the three apps, but sauce was minimal and lacking buffalo punch. I ordered the strip steak rare, which arrived medium rare. In addition, It appeared less than the advertised 16oz size. I asked if I could sub out the mashed potatoes for the au gratin. The waitress obliged but later found an extra $5 fee on the bill. I don't mind paying a little extra for the substitution, but the lack of communication left a bad taste in my mouth. NPI. My wife and son ordered the burger. The bun seemed to be a day old and reheated. The meat, bland. Their burgers are advertised as the "best in westchester", but certainly did not live up. My friends had the short rib and salmon dishes. Both portions were inadequate. On a positive note, the house made cocktails were tasty. As was the caramel brownie desert. Service was not over the top, but good nonetheless. Overall, we wish we had a better experience, and would love to recommend, but numerous reasons would prohibit us from doing so. Best of luck...

We stumbled upon Freddy's and were blown away by the unforgettable dining experience it offered! From start to finish, every moment was filled with culinary delights, and our server Cody made the experience even more memorable.

First up, the Chopped Italian Combo Salad stole the show with its fresh ingredients and tantalizing flavors. Then, we savored the Grilled Octopus, served with citrus German potato salad, gremolata, and chili oil, followed by the delectable Arancini Balls with cacio e pepe bechamel.

For our main course, the French Onion Short Rib was a flavor-packed sensation, accompanied by gruyere potato gratin and crispy onion rings. And let's not forget about dessert! The Funfetti Bread Pudding and Apple Cobbler were the perfect sweet endings!

Every dish showcased the perfect balance of flavors and expertly crafted gastology. Plus, the cocktails were a hit, and the espresso was top-notch!

We can't wait to return to Freddy's with our friends and family to share this incredible dining experience. If you're in Pleasantville, don't miss out on this culinary gem – Freddy's is an...

We went to Freddy’s on a recommendation and I’m so glad we did! The food was amazing. We went with all our waiter’s suggestions and he was spot on. Started. With the Arancini which was very creamy in the inside with a nice crunch on the outside , delicious. For our main course the waiter suggested the Tavern burger and the French Onion short rib. My husband said his burger was fantastic and the short rib was one of the best I’ve had. Very flavorful and tender. The potato gratin had a great top layer of cheese that was crispy and the onion rings were also nice and crispy and not greasy at all. We ended the meal with one of my favorites, key lime pie which was perfectly creamy and tart, definitely enjoyed it. They also have a nice drink menu to choose from and place has a nice casual homey vibe to it. Will definitely be back!
