Jean-Jacques' Culinary Creations — Restaurant in Town of Mount Pleasant

I recently held a surprise birthday party for my wife within the private room of the restaurant and I must say that I was extremely satisfied with absolutely everything.

First off, the private room was beautiful. It was very well decorated, organized, and clean.

Secondly, the food was amazing. I normally go here to get the baked goods, but the actual food was incredible. The quiches, the chicken Jean-Jacques’s, the penne ala vodka and thee crepes and sandwiches were all a hit. Super tasty and extremely well presented.

Thirdly, the ambience was just great. The staff was extremely attentive, everybody always had their drink quickly replenished and the Food was in abundance. We were also able to bring leftovers home and everything was nicely packed for us. People from my party ate the leftovers when they came back to our house that day and they really enjoyed them.

And lastly, the host Donna, was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Donna did a fantastic job at making sure that I was organized for the day of the event. Donna also provided me with some very good suggestions and was extremely accommodating in terms of the surprise. I personally also forgot to bring a couple of items and Donna was on top of that for me and helped get through the event but more so Donna helped me enjoy the event as well. Donna, I couldn’t thank you enough. My wife and I will always remember this day very fondly- a great memory for years to come.

Popular local bakery & coffee shop for the upper Westchester County set. Good food, healthy options available, private room available for smaller functions like baby/bridal showers or similar sized events. Make wonderful custom baked goods to order- birthday cakes & pastries for parties especially. Also a good place to grab a coffee, croissant, WiFi access & get some work done during their quieter hours. There's a dedicated lot adjacent to the building with handicapped parking spaces as well as a handicapable-friendly entrance with designated seating. The workers there are generally diligent & friendly, but it can be somewhat "hit or miss" depending on what day/time you're there- that said, it's generally much more "hit" than "miss" for the most part. Food & drinks are somewhat expensive there, but not out of line for what you'd expect of the geographical area. Overall a nice, local bakery that's good for a quick & tasty bite, or a good coffee to sip while doing work or getting your podcast fix- plus it's setup nicely for group festivities with the private room they have. Except for prices, there's not much to be unhappy with about this mainstay local establishment & their pricing is the only reason I've held back one star on their rating, as the food is pretty much always 5 star quality 👍, it's just that you certainly will...

We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player.
