Jar'd Wine Pub — Restaurant in Town of New Paltz

Cute place...loud but we could have a conversation. everyone seemed to know each other and the bartender was great...Russell has a tipsy snowman and it had to be pointed out to him that his mug was a naked lady torso (marry a nerd 🤓🥰). He said it was quite tasty ... Too sweet for me. I had the fall fashioned and bees knees both of which I liked a lot...I preferred the bees knees between the two...it got better as I drank it. One disappointment is the pics on Google show some dessert items but they don't serve desserts ... Just small plates.

Pee or pass; No bathroom but there is a bathroom in water street market I have used before. So pee.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to this beautiful little gem of a bar. Matt was at the bar and we decided to try something new at every turn. So Matt made us a Bubbles and Smoke which was absolutely delicious, We had the first drink inside with Matt and nice conversation and then we stepped outside and enjoyed the view and enjoyed the comfortable setting. Matt then made me a Rosita Pequeña which was absolutely awesome. My friend tried the Expresso Martini which he really liked although I didn't try it. Thank you Matt for your company and your mixologist skills. We loved the place and although I live on a different state, I'll be back soon....

We bought a vacation house in Kingston ( we are Brooklynites) in 2022. We always loved New Paltz so that was part of the Kingston drawer. We wandered into Jar’d one weekend shortly after we bought the house. We have been regulars ever since, mostly because it is the sweetest wine bar ever, great drinks ( I particularly love their sangria) and Theresa, the person in charge ( and behind the bar whenever we are there) is just the best.
