Everything about village grind is impeccable! Wonderful pastries(their croissants are to DIE for), delicious drinks, and personable staff and owner. Everything is very reasonably priced and the small comfortable atmosphere makes this place my personal favorite breakfast/brunch stop in New Paltz. I bring all my family and friends who visit from out of town here and they love it!

The Iced Blueberry Vanilla Latte tasted like…wait for it… BLUEBERRY! This iced latte was PEAK. Exactly what I want from an iced latte - aesthetic, awesome giant ice cubes made with coffee, scrumptious syrup, and seamlessly blended espresso. Not to mention the ham and cheese croissant was bomb. 10/10 - I will be returning to try the rest of their lattes

Absolutely loved the place! Wound up here just cus we passed near it. Got an omelette, bagel, and two cold coffees (actually roasted with their flavor components not flavor pumps!). The dudes working there were very chill and chatty, helped us fend off a bee! Definitely a spot we’ll come back to. (photos added after eating & realizing it was dope)

Do not recommend going here until the new owners learn how to uphold basic sanitation practices, let alone during a global pandemic. We’ve been going here for a couple of months and we always felt a little wary of the lack of consistent mask-wearing by the people working at the bar. But today, we realized we will never be returning here. We walked in and one guy was behind the bar and not wearing a mask. We kept ours on, obviously. He started making our coffees. Then another guy comes in, holding the hand of his small child, and I thought he was a customer. But then he pulls his mask off once he’s in the shop and starts joking around with the first guy, and the first guy tells the second guy what our orders are so he can help. Second guy, with his mask now off, does not wash his hands, is laughing and talking over the coffees, putting his hands all over the rim of the cup. Obviously this is not appropriate ever for people in the food business, and it is even more concerning in the time of COVID-19. These owners need to learn how to be professional on a food-safety level before they continue to serve customers, otherwise I suspect their business will be quickly shut down. We will certainly be reporting them if we hear of other New Paltz friends experiencing the same thing at The...

Today, was my first time at this charming place. The woman who greeted me was friendly and professional. When I asked for a cup of coffee she said light or dark roast. As a coffee lover that was awesome. The dark roast was excellent. The coffee had a robust strong flavor yet it was not bitter. Eager to go back and try the light roast.

It was so cool that there is a coffee shop in the bus terminal. Other smaller bus stations do not have a coffee place. So, rushing to catch an early morning bus and being able to grab a coffee is delightful - especially when it is such good coffee.

Unfortunately, I had food with me so I did not try one of the muffins. They have a good selection of vegan and gluten free choices. Next time I go I plan to get the light roast coffee and a muffin.

As a small business owner it is nice to support other small businesses especially when they are such high quality and offer a...

Our favorite coffee house in New Paltz closed down a while back and thank the Lord we've found The Village Grind! First time there we tried their iced lattes and dirty chai and they were fantastic. Next visit we also tried their breakfast sandwiches and they were just super delicious. Will be returning every time we come back to town.

Ambiance is great for being an adjoining part of a old, but still operating bus station. A table or two inside and the same outside, so mostly just a take-out place, but give it a try. It's well worth it.

-update 2022/04/16: renovated since our last visit, simpler menu. Somewhat disappointed in that, but still delicious...
