I have a capital one card. Whenever i purchase something on the card i get an immediate alert to my phone how much the purchase was and where the purchase was from. When i pulled up to the drivethru the associate gave me the price of $21.59. The employee then put my card in the scan machine two or more times. I got an instant alert from capital one that my card was charged from Wendy’s $8.63 and then right after that another charge from Wendy for 21.59. I asked the employee how many times are you charging me and he ignored me. I don’t know if it was on purpose or if he was busy. He gave me the bag of food and i showed him my phone that i was charged twice and he stated that the card declined first and then it went through. My capital one card has one $10,000 of credit on it so i know it wasn’t declined. I showed him the alerts i got and he stated that it was never charged. I don’t know why he was arguing with me about a charge that i legit showed him on my phone . Even if the charge was reversed i would have got an alert saying a transaction was reversed. I don’t know what kind of scam is happening at this Wendy’s but i will NOT be retuning to it and i will be posting in my social media about this Wendy’s. I wonder how many countless people are being scammed out of their money that don’t have alerts on their phone. At the end of the back and fourth with the employee he gave me a refund but stated “there’s no transaction of $8.63 so i don’t know where that came from”. To top it all off we ordered a 10 piece nugget and there was only 7 nuggets in the container! I will NOT be returning to this...
Read moreThey made me wait 10 minutes even through there was no one in the lobby and 1 person at the drive up, They where all laughing and having a good time it took a good 4 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me then they told me to wait as they're yelling for somebody to come to the counter don't know where they were cuz he never showed up the guy at the window with the headset have to take my order have to stand in there for 10 minutes he started my order then went back to the window and somebody else came and finish my order as I checked it it was completely wrong what I paid for was right what they put in the bag was wrong. As far as Wendy's Burger King McDonald's Taco Bell Wendy's is about twice as expensive. First problem with the order being wrong nobody speaks English or understands English apparently. Dave would be very disappointed on how does places run. Then when the lobby was empty a little girl comes out from behind the counter I guess somebody doesn't have child care and I do believe that is a safety hazard and illegal. Nobody knows what's going on here because nobody can understand English. I get home I open my bag instead of giving me a Dave's single I asked for bacon they charged me for bacon and they charged me for a Dave's double also got saucy nuggets I asked for six I got charged for six but I only got four this is why my bill came out to $40. We went inside, knowing that Wendy's has the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, and we wanted to make sure we got the correct mix of flavors for our drink. When I entered, I was pleasantly surprised to have no line to wait in. The associate greeted me, and was very patient while I fumbled through my order. At one point I did ask to start over, but they couldn't do so without managerial approval. The food came out almost immediately, which was nice. The Freestyle machine did not have one of the flavors I was expecting, but we made do. Overall, the food was very tasty, the drinks cold and fizzy. This Wendy's is good for a quick stop-in.
