Read moreThis feedback is given in the hope that it helps the restaurant improve. We need good restaurants that want to excel.
Disappointing is the best word. Sat at the bar. Ordered the prosciutto appetizer. The mozzarella was ice cold, as was the plate. Obviously plated earlier and kept in the fridge until ordered. Renders the mozzarella flavorless and unappetizing. The prosciutto was also not flavorful. Was a pale pink color...prosciutto cotto, maybe? Did I miss that on the menu? If so, call it cotto, not prosciutto. I usually get better prosciutto on pizza. Anyway, for $18, I expected much better. This is supposed to be a high-end place. Also, the wines by the glass list does not say the brand/vintner, only the type (Chardonnay, Cabernet, etc). Terrible for a high-end restaurant. If you change the wines frequently and don’t want to reprint the list, put them on a chalkboard at least. Lastly, chicken martini was ok, but nothing to write home about. Pales in comparison to Valbella in Greenwich. The broccoli was loaded with garlic. Use less. A little...
Read moreWe went on a Monday when my Favorite Restaurant was found to be closed. However, this was a great find in the Plaza on Main. The only ones there, we both got Salads, and mine was made to order. My companion had the ears of all as it doesnt get busy till at least 5:30 pm and after. I wanted something refreshing, lots of protein and the Lobster had nicely done pieces on a bed of Raw Spinach, with cherry tomates, and a sliced boiled egg. No dressing but thats a preference. Companion got House White Wine and I had my Vodka on the Rocks with Peach Liquer. It was ok. Lovely service, nicely manered while my companion spoke thru the meal and the parking Lot was big enough for this Establishment as well as the other businesses on site. I cannot speak of the cost as my companion paid the Bill, but to guess, $$$. Will be back for Dinner as it is 15 min from home. The Environment was just ok, very understated,...
