Popped in for a salad with tempeh. As with all soy meat alternatives, one must assume all liability while carefully diving in, eyes wide open. I left with my fingers crossed and a Mediterranean bowl. The salad was chock full of fresh greens and vegetables. What made it special was the wonderfully seasoned and crunchy lemon chickpeas, the creamy cashew tzatziki dressing, and the texture of the garlic tempeh. While most meat replacements still have a way to go, in terms of hitting the spot, the way this tempeh was prepared made for a refreshingly layered and texture-rich bite.😉😊

Excellent alternative to your typical fast food. Great fast fresh food, Not a lot of seating, but good atmosphere, and most people were picking up takeout. Perfect for avoiding Wendy’s and McDonald’s. Now I just need one of these in my local market!

I'm a regular here and love their grain bowls and fruit bowls. There are plenty of varieties to choose from, and the portions are decent. The staff is friendly, prepares your order in no time. The fiesta grain bowl, my new favorite, is a must-try!

Bare Blends is not only a refreshing, delicious new healthy option but they genuinely believe in their mission and stand by it. As a woman with Celiacs and Meniere’s Disease what I eat literally has the power to make a day great or one you would rather forget. Leaving me with little to no opportunity to eat outside my home. As such coming across a Bare Blends in my neighborhood (North Greenbush) was like drawing a Monopoly “get out of jail” free card.🥰 As my daily sodium diet is quite restrictive I referred to their online nutrition information to learn sodium was not listed for some products - making it a significant gamble to give them a try. As such I reached out to the company via their website for more nutrition clarity. Jess, the CEO personally got back to me promptly, knowledgeably, and with care. She is undoubtedly a woman committed to increasing accessibility to healthy food and empowering people to have the information they need to make the most healthy personalized choices for themselves. To my delight, Jess has decided to expand the nutrition information on the Bare Blend website and we both hope many others will benefit from the clarity as well! Our exchange was AWESOME and it was REFRESHING to connect with a CEO who genuinely cares about their mission and the actual people behind its success! Thank you, Jess❤️ Not only is the food at Bare Blends healthy and yummy but the soul and spirit behind it are deserving of ALL...

Bare Blends in North Greenbush is a solid spot for anyone looking for a healthy, laid-back place to grab food. The store is really clean and the whole space has a modern, minimal vibe that’s both calming and functional, perfect for a quick stop or even hanging out for a bit. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with plenty of natural light and seating, so it doesn’t feel cramped or rushed. What really stands out, though, is the attention to detail in the food; the smoothies and bowls are super fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully put together, both in flavor and presentation. You can tell they care about quality ingredients and keeping things consistent. The staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. It's a great go-to spot if you’re into clean eating, decent portions, and a chill environment to reset between...

So excited to see this women-owned, Capital Region-born, incredibly delicious, 100% VEGAN concept open another set of doors in the 518.

The smoothies are blended with love, their homemade cashew cream has a cult following, waffle toasties are not to be missed, the smoothie/açaí bowls pack a healthy punch (don’t miss the flavor of the week!), and there’s something about the granola that’s just next-level: maybe because it’s made by local vegan/gluten-free bakery, Sweet Eats (don’t miss the breakfast cookies, they’re the size of your head!).

Whatever the season, whatever the reason, visit your local BAREista for some...
